The best part of the Price saga is when he sued Sports Illustrated and reached a settlement that included a non-disclosure agreement about the details of the settlement then immediately left the courtroom and gave a statement claiming victory in the lawsuit. SI then had the settlement thrown out and they negotiated a second settlement two weeks later .

I was reading about the Bayou coach that went down in a plane. Turns out neither coached an SEC game.

Whoa. No man.

Didn't she work at Sammy's in Fort Walton? Place had some skanks back then.

Say what you want about the guy but what he did at Washington State was pretty damn impressive. Got em to 2 Rose Bowls I believe.

My brother was a student at Bama when Price was hired. I still remember him calling me and saying no way this guy makes it, he’s going to get in trouble messing with students.

Hell, maybe there are boards where you can flippantly reference people who tragically died in a plane crash leaving behind a wife and kids?? You could probably be an administrator on one like that.

Oh, the humanity. Not a single disparaging word has been spoken about this dude. Unlike the Bama coach. Other than he went down in a crash. Well, so did Kobe and his daughter, Lynyrd-Skynyrd, Otis Redding, Jim Croce, Ricky Nelson, Audie Murphy, Patsy Cline, Jim Reeves, Will Rogers, Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Denver and I'm sure a host of others. Nothing disparaging about them either.

Put your righteous indignation away. Nothing to see here but your emotional fragility.

They basically said, get THE best man that can fix this and let him run the show.

They did and it paid off.

Dude just chill. OP asked a question about a funny story that happened 18 years ago (although embarrassing for us at the time) and you bring up coaches dying and plane crashes. No point to it but to try to troll or offend.

Yea, they actually said, let's go get the nicest squeaky clean guy to fix our image...then after a few years of him getting run over by Ears they finally decided enough is enough.

The sad part is he's doubling down on being a piece of shite. We all have typed something stupid and hit send. Those who aren't scumbags usually realize it. Then there's Bamameister.

Pretty easy to run over a team with one hand tied behind its back. Saban took care of that shite 36-0 and sent Tommy off to football hell in Lubbock, Texas.
