i just don't understand

yes, alabama made some great pass plays, and the refs totally fricked Ok in the second half, but ok coaching sucked. alabama figured out they had to rush more than 4, but Ok quit rushing more than 4 late int he 2d quarter and never figured out they need to rush 5.
the whole game changed when mateer didn't rush for the first down late in the 1st quarter on 3rd down. sure, he delivered the pass but it was dropped, that 's why you take the sure thing. after that, it was all over.

Refs weren’t a factor. Oklahoma lost that game on their own. Alabama capitalized on their mistakes. Give Alabama the credit they deserve.

Just like the first game in Tuscaloosa. OU created the Alabama deficiencies and took advantage of them. Great season OU.
