Every team has flaws. Ole Miss beating Georgia was a big confidence boost.

But Ole Miss should feel confident that Georgia’s offense is more dynamic than Miami’s.

Miami figured out that it if they limit Beck’s opportunities to make a mistake by running the ball, their defense can carry them.

Ole Miss’ defense has to make winning plays to match Miami’s defense. Stuff the run first and foremost.

Did they watch the first game? He was great in that game too. That loss wasn't on him in any way.

Chambliss’ performance against UGA was probably a flash in a pan,

He's played 4 games against top 10 defenses efficiency wise according to F+. These are his stats

VS DF+ #10 LSU 23-39 314 1-1 Passing 14 71 0 Rushing
AT DF+ #9 UGA 19-36 263 1-0 Passing 9 42 2 Rushing
AT DF+ #5 Okla 24-44 315 1-0 Passing 12 53 0 Rushing
N DF+ #9 UGA 30-46 362 2-0 Passing 4 14 0 Rushing

Miami is #6 in DF+.

Seems like he's been consistently great against high level defenses all year to me.

It’s just brand recognition. You wouldn’t think Miami lost to SMU and Louisville.

He made plays against the teams where we had nothing going on offense too namely against South Carolina and Florida. He and Lacy have saved our season numerous times now.

Miami is a solid well put together team. Georgia was overrated this year and escaped too many close games, but they beat a crappy injured bama team in a stupid conference game. Hell, if it wasn’t for a crappy kick, they would be Tennessee’s only victory against an opponent with a winning record.

There were 2 plays that happened very close to each other that really shaped the Miami win over OSU.

In their touchdown drive, the receiver fumbled at midfield, but Miami recovered (they had already turned the ball over fumbling to OSU in the first drive). Miami goes on to score a TD. Three plays later, Miami scores a TD on a 72 yard Pick-6.

While Beck is a crucial player...Miami will need the Defense to play like they have the last 2 games, and they will need a little luck as well. So far in the playoffs, they've had a bit of both.

I agree. They are acting like Miami is unbeatable.
They acted like OSU had hoisted the trophy before stepping foot on the field for their playoff game.

Miami is not unbeatable. Not remotely. I think Ole Miss has a good chance

Chambliss is houdini. I have them winning that game but losing to the Ducks in the championship.

I will be shocked if Oregon beats IU.

Ole Miss is a 13-1 SEC team.

Miami was a bad draw for A&M but Ole Miss is a bad draw for Miami. Too much offensive firepower for Miami to keep up with Ole Miss.

The Rebels roll into the NC game.

The only thing standing in Miami’s way of a title is Cristobal
