Welcome, and you aTm's are good folk. Now you know first hand what the rest of the nation has no clue about when it comes to football in the SEC.

I FRICKIN LOVE BEING IN THE SEC

After it was announced that A&M was joining the SEC, we were on a cruise and I ran across some A&M fans. I asked them what they thought about it, and they were pleased to be getting away from Texas, but a bit concerned about moving to the SEC.

I kind of thought it was a good move for them, and being in the SEC would help their own recruiting in Texas.

I still think that way. Solid addition.

If that happens I'll paint myself purple and gold.

I absolutely hate Texas.

Same here, in general. Plus the last time of watching Roy Williams run up and down the field and Simms laughing on the sideline...those frickers.

There were 3 separate fights at our regulare bar we were at in Breckenridge during the Texas/Bama BCSNCG. Two of the fights were chic fights, one of which spilled out ontot he street with lots of hair pulling. Being a neutral fan, i was slightly entertained the first fight, but annoyed the second and third fights because those stupid drunk college kid tourists were pissin everyone else off.

Indeed. SEC football is the King of college athletics, bigger and better than East Coast/ACC basketball or anything else you put on the table. Every year, there is an SEC football game that is The Game of the Year in college football. LSU has had the privilege of being in a couple of these games along with Bama, Florida and Auburn. SEC football rules.

I think A&M is a good addition to the conference. If we had to add another team, y'all were a great choice.

Can't say much about basketball,

The SEC won the National Title....same as football.

Let's be honest guys, the SEC basketball programs on a whole are not up to the level of the Big East, or the ACC, even the Big 10 at this point. If you want to use Kentucky as an example of great basketball play in the SEC, then I will tell you that the Pac 10 was the best football conference for 2003-2005. After all, USC was really good those years.

What we love about SEC football is not only that many of the teams are really good, but that their fanbase, traditions, and game day atmospheres are outstanding.

Not really late to the party just heard a interview from Stallings that got me super pumped up about this weekend and I got to thinking ... how many times was I pumped for a Big 12 game ... 1 maybe 2 times a year, if that? I have been pumped for every SEC game this year

4 of our 6 divisional opponents we have significant cross over with historically, that is double what we had in the Big 12 and that is a stretch given that the average Aggie couldn't care less about our history with Baylor since they have been so irrelevant as to make A&M look like national champion contenders in my lifetime.

Yuh? Wellz you iz about to has ano'der 1 when Souf Cakalak whip up on 'dat Aggie azz when we play fo da first time.. you know.. whenever the SEC gets around to scheduling us.

I'm sure you love being in the SEC considering the great season your having this year!

However, you'll hate the SEC if you perform like Mizzou has this year. It'll be a long and lonesome ride that you'll want to simply end.

That's me being a crybaby because my high expectations for Mizzou have been crushed this year even though I know this isn't a typical season for Mizzou (injuries, injuries, injuries, depth issues, OC issues).

A&M's time is coming. Enjoy this season, because y'all can't sustain it year in and year out.

Sincerely,

Jealous Mizzou Fan
