UGA (GT), Fl. (FSU), Kent. (Louisville), & SC (Clemson) wont go for it since that only gives us 1 slot for anybody & the other 12 get 2.

So Georgia will decline their next Sugar Bowl invite, if it’s not for the title? By your reasoning they should

GAT is not a Texas fan. He was outted last week. He's LSU Steven, UGA Alum, NFLSU, and one or two other usernames. There was a huge thread on it. He didn't deny it and was continually owned by everyone that posted in the thread. Since then he's been talking to himself in numerous threads to fool those that didn't read the thread where he was outted.

Dude is weird

Does any team have 5 rivalries that are worth preserving annually? I would think most teams have 2-3. I prefer a 3-6 or 3-7 more so we can play everyone more often while protecting the important historical rivalries.

I don’t know why any fan wouldn’t want this. I get why coaches don’t, but fans, wtf!

Who wants to see powerful SEC teams play weak arse non con games?

Big time College Football is already semi professional as it is. No reason to not go to a ten game league schedule.

Good points. It's like the NFL only playing 3/4 of their games against NFL teams and the others against USFL and XFL teams. No one wants to see that garbage.

The more I think about it, the more I'm in favor of a 12-game SEC schedule.

OP, this seems like a brilliant idea….. for destroying yet another conference. Can you at least wait till you’re a member before throwing the grenade into the middle of the room?

It’s obvious what happened here. ESPN refused to pony up more money if the SEC went to 9 games.

How’s it fair to get the same money for a cupcake as they’d get for a conference game? Makes no sense. Actually glad we stayed at 8. Until ESPN agrees to pay more, 8 will do just fine. The SEC just needs to figure out a solid rotation that preserves rivalries as well as gets teams around the conference more often. It’ll work.

I’m with you on this

I am too, especially without divisions. Just imagine the bitching when someone misses out on the SECCG, to someone with more home games. I don't even like it in the NFL, but at least they keep it with each conference having the same. Just go ahead and add Clemson and FSU, so half the rivalry argument is dead. Don't mention GT, they are a G5, in a P5. And Kentucky cares more about basketball.

Exactly. Why is 3 such a firm number? 10 sec games is awesome.

I prefer a 9 game, 3/6 rotation.
Every SEC school in 2 years.
With 9 games there are no 500 teams in conference.

Then mandate that everyone had to schedule another OOC p5 team if their choice.

They get 1 whatever game schedule you you want

The final game is OOC P5 and it’s scheduled by a a committee of the P5 confs and ND. And In July you find out what P5 OOC school you get that upcoming season.
