I honestly don't give a shite what LSU is ranked as long as they get in. There isn't a single team in the country that will stop this offense.
With that said, don't feed the public shite sandwiches when trying to explain it. Just say we're using they eye test IN OUR OPINION. Don't sit on national TV and say it's because OSU just had another big win bringing their total to 3 top 19 wins when LSU is sitting there with 3 top 15 wins. That's insulting the college football viewers that likely watch WAAAAAAY more college football than most of the committee members.
Take a look. Most of these people are sitting staff members at current institutions. That means on Saturday's they are doing stuff with their own schools all day so how can they possibly be watching all of the games? These are people with tons of shite to do on game days. None of which is sit in front of a tv all day. Are they just watching highlights at night? Do you honestly think they're watching games after the fact?
The entire system is no better than what we had pre-BCS when the national champion was crowned by a bunch of nerdy sports writers.

The best thing that could happen to us to keep us sharp and mentally focused was to drop us down in the rankings. LSU better have our mind and all attention on Texas A&M Saturday, nothing else matters. I think it will give the players a chip on their shoulder and motivate them to make a statement with their play on the field. I wish they’d drop us to 4 if we win this weekend so we could play angry against Georgia.
