Everyone's cheating a little bit.

None of the recruits Wade brought in this past class were particularly surprising. All had connections to Louisiana besides Williams who had most of his offers rescinded after his arrest

Will Wade and LSU (Donald Trump) are becoming the new kings of the SEC and are building a big time program. The blue bloods (the establishment) like Kentucky and Florida are trying to cover up their mistakes by putting out a conspiracy that the only way LSU can be this good is by cheating. The big boys can’t handle being beat and can’t own up to their own mistakes

It’s a good thing we have so much power over random dudes on ESPNU Radio.

I'm not angry at this post because it feels nice to be called a "blue blood" instead of a "johnny come lately" or whatever but more competition in conference is a good thing. UK fans are a bit salty right now because of tipgate, but they'll come around

It’s mainly Kentucky that I’m pointing to as the blue blood and the establishment. Florida is just the only other team in the last 10-15 years that’s had a lot of success. I’m mainly pointing at you Kentucky fans!

I remember when Roy Williams accused Donovan of cheating because he signed Mike Miller

Good times. Billy D > Roy

Maybe Will Wade will be a Billy Donovan. Probably not, but maybe

It’s a good question asking why so many kids want to go to Lexington Kentucky.

Probably because their fans are awesome. Who wouldn't want to play for a team that can get essentially home court advantage at any neutral site?

Pointing at what? The payoff of random radio hosts? The cash under the table to get the SEC to ask for a rules change? Exactly what are you pointing at? When are Tigers fans going to stop conflating UK fans with commentators, a sports conference, former officials, etc.? You’re desperately trying to establish relevance. You don’t do that by strapping on a tin foil hat. You do that by winning. Tuesday was a good start.

LSU has awoken from a deep slumber. Get used to it, haters.

And for the third time, so far as I know, the guys on ESPNU radio don’t actually have anything to do with the University of Kentucky or its fans. And for the umpteenth time, commentators, SEC officials and former referees are not Kentucky fans. Address it with them. I really don’t see what’s hard to understand about this.

He's 1-2 vs. Bama. He hasn't tapped anything.

I’m surprised Jay Williams didn’t get called a closet Kentucky fan.

That's actually confirmed on the FBI wiretap.

ESPN report on FBI wiretap of Wade cheating

quote:

Attorneys for the defendants in a federal criminal case involving pay-for-play schemes and other corruption in college basketball attempted on Tuesday to introduce into evidence wiretap recordings that, according to the attorneys, suggested LSU coach Will Wade and Kansas assistant Kurtis Townsend were prepared to offer improper benefits to high-profile recruits and their families.
