The point remains the same. He hasn't been penalized for it, so until he does, you can't fault him for it.
If you gave me the option for cheating and being where LSU is right now, or "doing things the right way" and being where Vanderbilt is, then the choice is an easy one.
Anothy Grant & Avery Johnson have taken advantage of my love for Alabama basketball. I buy in, and they let me down, time and time again. At this point, I don't care what the next guy does, as long as we're winning. And that's what Wade is doing right now for LSU.

This is true in the main. Duke and kansas definitely pay to play. It’s also a far cry from “We didn’t do anything.”

I never said we didn’t do anything. We may have, may not have. Not as if he mentions actually paying for a recruit, just something to the tune of “I can get you what you need” IIRC.

No kids would willingly play for this horrific body without being paid. The man has anger issues and is truly sickening to look at. His body is offensive.
There is zero doubt in my mind that he pays kids to play for him.
