I don’t want my team in this conference anymore. And I’m telling you, I don’t think the majority of the fan base wants to be either.

So you think Landry inviting those investors in may be what this is about? I can see how a school willing to sign away 10% of all their future SEC TV earnings could be seen as a huge threat to the SEC.

I agree with everything you said. But honestly it’s either us or Sankey. Those two entities cannot coexist going forward. Especially when we actually capitulated. It’s petulant bullshite.

No chance they get kicked out. However, I kind of which it were true for those LSU people on here saying they’ll take Lane over their affiliation is the the conference they started.

LSU is a charter member the old school SEC schools May hate LSU but losing them would be a blow to the league. The original SEC members have a connection that the new schools don’t understand. We all compete with each other but have a long term bond

Yes which is why it’s fricking embarrassing that this isn’t being handled behind closed doors. Sankey looks like a petulant child throwing a temper tantrum, while LSU looks like the adult in the room. I don’t see how Sankey doesn’t get pushed out once this settles down. The simple fact is that LSU is a more valuable brand than at least 8 other teams in the conference. You can’t just replace that. ACC schools can’t afford the buy out. ND isn’t coming, and there isn’t a worthwhile Big12 team left. So you’re going to lose more than 1/16 of your revenue, open yourself up to additional lawsuit costs, and damage your brand because of 2 potential depth guys, who LSU chose not to add after consideration.
