We got our 4th choice at QB. Wanted Chambliss then Sorsby then the Washington QB before turning back to Leavitt. Wish we had Mensah. We aren’t good enough on line of scrimmage to win without an elite QB . Baker is an average DC and is exposed against good QBs. Let’s hope Leavitt improves quickly.

Louisiana economy is in its best position since the late 1970s let’s see if we can sustain it and bring a lot of people back and keep people from leaving. It seems like we’ve actually turned the corner. The SpaceX thing is transformational.
He may be the best athlete in LSU history. He probably had most accomplished pro career in any sport of an LSU player .

NOLA is full of LSU fans. There was even an LSU alum who was Rex recently and had LSU band lead the parade. There are many more LSU fans in New Orleans now than 25 yrs ago because of the winning. The rivalry between BR and NOLA has decreased. There are tons of Saints fans in BR and tons of LSU fans in New Orleans. New Orleans high school kids long to play for LSU now . Archie went to Ole Miss I wouldn’t expect him to be an LSU fan same as Deuce but both always say good things about LSU. It’s like if the Honey Badger moved to Misssippi would they expect him to cheer for Ole Miss ?

It is harder because the Ole Miss team is better just like Tiger Stadium is hardware for teams to play on than the Curley Hallmann era

John Mateer is Sam Leavitt. Let’s hope that isn’t the case but I am not sure accuracy is a coachable trait. He throws flat footed and has a low release point. He needs to run ball 15-20 times a game to be successful. The RBs and WRs are average SEC caliber. Leavitt will need to get much better for us to have a playoff season.

Texas last title was 2005 A lot of Texas wins were in the southwest Converse, which was horrible. They have an overrated history. Oklahoma is historically a better program. Don’t care what the Tx OU head to head is

UNC is terrible in football. No reason to add them
LSU is a charter member the old school SEC schools May hate LSU but losing them would be a blow to the league. The original SEC members have a connection that the new schools don’t understand. We all compete with each other but have a long term bond

They are not going to expel LSU. The TV contract alone would prevent that. There isn’t another school from a different conference that could fill LSU spot. ND isn’t joining SEC. FLA would not let Miami or FSU. The shine is off Clemson etc
I do think League will move offices to Atlanta or Nashville at some point

LAfayette will grow bit won’t surpass BR and New Orleans All of South Louisiana will benefit from this project
