If Urban had heart problems at Florida, he'd be dead within a year at South Carolina.

Was coming to say the same thing.
His heart problems would be very real here. And he'd be taking that ambien nonstop to have permanent amnesia.
And he'd have Bobby Boucher's daddy level brain pain.

Holtz and Spurrier were both okay coming to SCAR and being heroes for 9-10 win seasons. I don’t think Meyer could take that many losses each year without his health suffering. He’s just too competitive.

Hypothetical You could've stopped right there.

No chance, Spurrier coming back would be more realistic

Urban would never take the job at a dead end, loser program like south carolina, he's never gonna consistently out Recruit the Clemsons, UGA, UF, Bama and other nearby schools with a much better track record in P5 FB over the last 25 years than sc has
SC is a small population State, that can't support 2 P5 colleges and south carolina is light years behind Clemson so they're gonna lose their State's Recruits to Clemson and they won't do well enough in other States to do any serious damage at the P5 level
south carolina is a lesser version of Okie State to Clemson being the OU in their State

This could be a cover story for Never Gonna Happen Magazine.

Urban Meyer is a PoS that should be headed to hell.

This seems pretty aggressive. What did I do to make you so upset?

You're such a miserable little fella.

No chance. He’s not coming back for a 2nd/3rd tier job. It’ll have to be a monster job and they’ll have to unload the brinks truck. He’s not going to the SEC or Big10. No job in the ACC worth it.
To me the big 2 that may actually hire him are USC and UT if Herman crashes again

Urban will not coach again. He is primed for the AD job at OSU. That was one reason he left.

STFU. Nobody gives a shite about Georgia Tech here.

He is the man in waiting at Southern Cal isn’t he? I think the Browns or someone is going to offer him insane money. Matt freaking Rhule just signed a deal that can get him $10,000,000 a year...more than the Dark Lord Saban. I don’t see any way South Carolina comes close to that.

If he coaches again, I imagine he'll go somewhere where he'll get the Dabo treatment: carte blanche to do what he wants, 0% chance of ever getting fired not withstanding a scandal, fanbase that just feels lucky to have him there, low(er) expectations from the media. At the same time I'd imagine he's competitive and driven enough to want to go somewhere big enough to actually win, which South Carolina would be if he went there.
He's not going to go to a place where he can't win big.
Lou Holtz and Steve Spurrier, both National Championship-winning coaches, found out the hard way that USCe is one of those places. And I like USCe.
