Do they leave his statue up? Do you keep a statue of a guy you deemed worthy of firing?

For the record I don't think they will ever fire him. Just a thought that popped in my head.

If these are the types of thoughts you have, you might want to just give up on the whole thinking thing altogether.

they'll keep the statue, but only because it's too heavy to move

Why the hell would we take the statue down? He won 3 national championships here.

He will never be fired, but to answer your awesome hypothetical, yes the statue would remain because from the beginning the point of the statues was to honor all coaches that won a national title. Firing him wouldn't take away the titles he won.

He's the only person I could think of where this scenario fits. Most people don't get statues until years later.

You're having t-shirts printed at this very moment, aren't you.

It's 3/1 scale. Can't be moved. Too big.

Is it life-sized? Should have only taken a few gallons of bronze.

The only mystery about Saban's legacy at The University, is what do we name after him? Has to be something fitting.

But wasn't the Bear a drunk, wife abusing, sister kissing, racist chain smoker?

And he stayed 25 years.

Serious answer for a non-serious question: they can't afford to fire him, even if they wanted to do so. If he dug in his heels, he would be owed every penny on his current contract, which I believe would be in the $50 million range.

He's not leaving until Ms. Terry tells him it's time.

You do realize we are the SEC champions and a fluke play away from being undefeated this year right?

What is wrong with you ignorant people ? Enjoy your lucky win and understand, you will be crying in a few weeks seeing as it has been over 50 years since Ole Miss won an SEC Title. Like a country hick in the city.
