Maybe we should schedule them 9 more times then, because that’s the only way we see a 9-win season.

I hope Oklahoma beats that CRAP out of Auburn this week

It's funny how we are still recruiting better than we did before NIL, isn't it
NIL was in place when Harsin was coach and most Auburn fans agree his two recruiting classes where the worst two in at least 20 years.
You need to make up your mind.
And this 2025 Auburn recruiting class is not in the barn yet. Go 4-8 and watch what happens.

Yes, because he didn't recruit. Are you a fricking idiot? It was well-documented and we all know you follow Auburn religiously.

No shite, Sherlock. You still can't disprove my point. NIL is not the problem at Auburn.
We used to have better Bama fans here

You say that Auburn is recruiting better since NIL, yet you also say that Harsin didn’t recruit at all.
You seem confused.

I guess that means Oklahoma has a 1 in 10 chance of beating Auburn

Yes. When we have a coach who actually RECRUITS!
Harsin did not recruit. He watched his own son's games on Fridays instead of being at other schools recruiting. He refused to develop relationships with any Alabama HS coaches.
Get it, Corky? Or do we need a SPED teacher to explain it to you? Jesus fricking Christ you are dense.

NIL began in 2021. Here are how Auburn’s classes were ranked by On3.
Here are Auburn’s three post NIL recruiting class rankings.
2022: 16
2023: 17
2024: 8
Average post NIL recruiting ranking: 14
Here are Auburn’s last three pre NIL recruiting class rankings.
2021: 19
2020: 7
2019: 12
Average pre NIL recruiting ranking: 13
That proves it, you are wrong. Auburn has not recruited better in the post NIL world.

I'm not. You are being intentionally obtuse.

Currently 4th. Best class ever signed if it keeps together.
Bryan Harsin said to be absent on the recruiting trail
quote:
Let's just say the high school coaches of Alabama were not kind to Bryan Harsin's Tigers.
quote:
When asked by The Athletic how they'd describe the way Auburn recruits their players:
quote:
Coach 1 (Birmingham): Honestly, they do a poor job in recruiting. I’ve never met the man (Harsin) in person. I do want to meet the guy because I think a lot of my kids could play at Auburn. But just as a rule, they just haven’t done a very good job recruiting our kids.
quote:
Coach 2 (Mobile area): I gotta be careful because I don’t want to get hung out here, but Bryan Harsin hasn’t been to our school. He’s never been here. That’s been a surprise. They’ve got a lot of outstanding recruiters on their staff, though. I think that (Harsin) has put together a good staff. But I don’t know the head coach there
quote:
Coach 6 (Central Alabama): (Offensive line coach) Will Friend does an excellent job. (Running backs coach) Carnell Williams is good. They’ve got a lot of outstanding young coaches. I think they’re going to do well, but I don’t know their head coach at all. Nick Saban comes to our school every year — every year he makes a trip to our school, whether he’s recruiting a guy or not.
Go the frick away you goddamn jagoff

Auburn just threw another interception.

And Fred Talley is still running over through and around Auburn defense at will.

This would be a retarded statement here on tRant much less coming from a head coach. Huge insult to the team that just beat your arse.
I'd love to know Hugh's reasoning for why Auburn is so powerful they would have a 90% win percentage against Arkansas. They're 2-2 ffs & havent had a winning record in years. Seriously, wtf makes them any better at all?
He's either crazy or really, really stupid.

Arkansas was far from perfect in that game and Auburn didn't take advantage of those mistakes.
His reasoning? A superiority complex in the belief that Arkansas is awful and they are same team from last November. Well by the time Arkansas played that game, most of the players had given up. This past game was played in September and Arkansas is still playing hard. Freeze didn't think that and believed this game was not in any doubt before the game began.
