Freeze will not stay at Ole Miss long. Big boy schools will come for him soon.

Probably has something to do with the fact this is the first class this staff has been paying since they were in middle school

Need to trim that down - not sure that will fit on a banner.

Whats most puzzling about this is the lack of on the field success

We won the Sugar Bowl and finished second in the SEC.

You lost by double digits to Memphis, MEMPHIS, and got blown out by Florida.

3 loss teams are not EVER "one play away from a National Championship".

You fricking Rebals have to be the most delusional fanbase on this board.

You guys are going to tell your grand kids about that one time Ole Miss beat Alabama and then they went on to win the NC. Fun times..

Much more likely to tell them about the season prior when the goal post came down and Bama lost to Ohio State.

You finished 2nd in the division, 3rd in the conference. Florida had s better SEC record, the Florida team that blew you out.

Oh I'm sorry, I was going by ranking at the end of the season...

Well you see SEC standings are determined by SEC record. This is nothing new. If you want credit for a division title in 2003, you can't change your logic and say you finished 2nd in the conference in 2015.

Good job of making lemonade out of lemons with your semantics.

- Sugar Bowl
- 2nd highest ranked SEC team****
- 38-17
- 2003 Western Division Champs

It's not semantics, it's black and white. Florida finished the season 2nd in the conference.

That 2003 season couldn't have played out any better. First national title in my lifetime and Eli Manning fell on 4th down in Oxford to keep Ole Miss out of Atlanta. TAOM

Convincing a bunch of middle/lower class high school boys and their parents doesn't take some magical formula... he's a salesman, just like all successful recruiters.

I guess we can argue the definition of semantics.

My point was Ole Miss was the 2nd best team in the SEC, but you knew that already didn't you?

The one play would have made OM a 2 lose team. And the SEC Championship game would have given OM a win over the FL team that beat them earlier in the season. While most SEC fans like to think OM wouldn't have gotten in, I feel they would have without the 4 and 25 miracle.
