you're concerned only about the future because you haven'rt won anything in over 50 years. hoping the future is better is all you have

While most SEC fans like to think OM wouldn't have gotten in

because they wouldn't have. A team with two blowout losses was not getting in over 1 loss Ohio State and probably not over 2 loss Stanford either. Alabama would have had a better overall resume as well. You lost the payoffs when you got blown out by Memphis, not when you blew a 4th and 25 against Arkansas. 4th and 25 probably cost you an SEC Title and definitely cost you your first trip to Atlanta. You're making a huge leap to say it cost you a national title.

And hanging onto the past is a better alternative?

People are salty about Ole Miss because our near future (sans investigation) is as bright as anyone's in the SEC. This is why everyone else rejoiced at the prospect of severe sanctions being handed down to us.

having success and appreciating it is not hanging onto the past you dolt. but i'm sure if Ole Miss were to actually win the SEC ( ), you'd move on and stop talking about it the next season because "it's in the past." btw, why are you still talking about beating Alabama the past 2 years? It's in the past bro

people are laughing at y'all because you're obnoxious about your marginal success and act like you're elite

If it weren't for Vanderbilt and Kentucky, Jones would 4-14 within the conference and 15-17 overall -- 9 of those wins coming against the following:

Austin Peay
Western Kentucky
South Alabama
Utah State
Arkansas State
Chattanooga
Bowling Green
Western Carolina
North Texas

Tennessee hasn't beaten their two biggest rivals in almost a decade. Alabama looking to make it 10 straight, Florida going for 12 in a row. It's been 4,000+ days and ticking. Talk about delustional. How are you so adamant about a school that you have no direct correlation with? You've not spent a single semester at the University of Tennessee.

You say this every time you get owned by someone on here, and it's pathetic. It's also untrue. For someone who claims to "post only facts", you sure as frick don't have your "facts" straight.

As for the rest of your post, didn't read, voted down

Where's the cutoff?

2 years, 5 years, 10 years, 20 years, 30 years, 40 years? 50 years? 60 years? People bring all time records everyday like it matters. I think a 4 year revolving history makes sense, personally.

*To clarify, head to heads are really only relevant in 4 year cycles IMO. And no, I would not stop talking about a national championship, ever.

Yep.

I didn't realize it's been over a decade since Tenn had beaten UF or Alabama.

Do less man. lol

I've never been owned by anyone on this site. It's actually a valid point to make, however. None of the Tennessee core posters have actually attended school there yet they are the most easily offended group on this site. Quite the conundrum

I didn't realize it's over 5 decades since Ole Miss won an SEC Championship.

I didn't realize that you've won 10 regular season games, EVER, in over 110 years. That's 11 decades, in case you're wondering

Tennessee is 10-21 over that four year stretch and were left in a much better predicament than what Houston Nutt left in Oxford
