Possibilities:

Sumlin?
Lulz. Freeze and Sumlin have to win something first. And lolololol @ 3rd and Chavis.

Guys, LSU has played football since Saban left in 2004. Les Miles replaced him. I think that would classify Les as his "Heir." Alternatively, Cam Cameron also replaced Saban.
I smell a future Aflac trivia question.

The University of Alabama has more money than Ole Miss & MSU combined...both athletics and academics.

This is all hypothetical. I, personally, doubt Freeze will be successful, but if he was, he will be a leading candidate, IMO. Same thing for Sumlin as long JFF isn't a fluke. And Chavis is a great defensive mind that would be perfect for Bama but I don't think Bama would go down and take a chance on a coordinator after Saban.

No true. I would much rather coach at Ole Miss for the same pay at UA and have the fans expect roughly 2 less wins in a year.
Surely you are joking. Why would any coach with any amount of confidence in his own coaching ability prefer a job where the largest reasonable ceiling is maybe a SEC West title once a decade over a job where the ceiling is competing for a national championship every year. You are comparing Ole Miss to Bama for goodness sake.
Now with that said, Freeze won't be on Bama's radar when Saban retires. If the PTB at Bama decide not to give Smart a chance (or if Smart were to take the UGA job), then they will have their pick of the top coaching in America by the time Saban leaves (of which Freeze is not one of).

Alabama doesn't have what it takes to lure Freeze away from Oxford.

Which will be a few years in the future and if Freeze has the coaching to back his recruiting he will one of the premier coaches.

By the time Saban retires, Freeze's recruiting will have had Ole Miss on probation for a good 3-5 years.

So did Gene Chizik.

Gene Chizik also coached a Heisman winner and won a BCS trophy.
Yep, and AU saw fit to give Chizik a raise along with an astronomical buyout following the '10 season all because Texas "supposedly" (in Jacobs mind) wanted to steal him away from AU.

Wouldn't surprise me at all honestly.

Haha. Ole Miss cant outbid Bama. Besides they could find a much better coach than Hugh Freeze.

I don't know why Tennessee doesn't go for Freeze???

Freeze is where he wants to be. Nobody is getting him away from Oxford.

Not Hugh, think either in house name (Kirby Smart - He will groom him when he knows its needed), or someone from the next level.
