The muscle man has had a couple of excellent recruiting classes in a row, yet they are dogshit.
For those of us not paying particularly close attention to NWA goings-on, what gives?

They started slow and were bailed out by going on late season surges followed by favorable tournament scenarios and opponents besides Gonzaga (Colgate, Oral Roberts, Vermont, New Mexico, Kansas without Bill Self).
This year, they started like they usually do and got burned when they couldn’t be rescued by a late season run.

Muss allows players like Devo Davis to leave and return this past year which doesn't help the problem.

Didn’t Devo Davis leave and return last year also? I may be mistaken but it seems that’s what happened. If so, I’m not sure many coaches would have taken him back a second time.
