How would you rank the SEC head coaching jobs?

1) LSU- small state, but produces a ton of talent per capita, next door to TX, no instate competition and few competitors in immediate vicinity.
2) Georgia- Massive state that produces a ton of talent, but you have several SEC and ACC powers next door
3) Bama- Birmingham produces the most draft picks per capita I believe. Unmatched tradition and rabid fanbase
4) Florida- the biggest recruiting hotbed, but you've got instate competition and other programs in close proximity
5) Tennessee- not a state that produces a lot of talent, but you're on the doorstep of some who do. Very strong fan support and history
6) Auburn- Obviously in a recruiting hotbed, but can be overshadowed by more accomplished programs nearby
7) Texas A&M- see above
8) Arkansas- small state that doesn't produce a lot of talent, but you've got the resources and backing of the entire state and are next door to TX
9) Mizzou- Not an accomplished program historically, but you have the benefit of being the only SEC program in a region that produces a fair amount of talent
10) Kentucky- see above, OSU recruiting more nationally now should help UK with Midwestern kids who the Buckeyes would usually sign. Good fan support despite being a bball school/region
11) SCar- very little history despite being in a talent rich area, hard to imagine them getting out of the shadow of Clemson and UGA soon.
12) Ole Miss and MSU- really tough spot, if the state had only one program, it might be competitive in the SEC
14) Vandy

It looks like you're basing it off of the recruiting grounds they're in. I'm just spitballing here but if so...
1. LSU
2. UGA
3. UF
4. AU/Bama
5. TAM
6. USC/UT/Vandy
7. UK
8. UK-because they can poach Ohio recruits
9. OM/MSU/Ark/Mizz
1. LSU
2. UGA
3. UF
4. AU/Bama
5. TAM
6. USC/UT/Vandy
7. UK

9. OM/MSU/Ark/Mizz

This is a pretty good list, tbh. I'd probably put SC higher. Hard to pick between Georgia/LSU for #1.
I assume we're talking about ranking on the opportunity to win games, of course.

Auburn above UT. No recruits in TN except for Memphis.

I can't believe you guys don't have Alabama first. I realize you're thinking recruiting territories but they've got the national brand and don't need to worry about pulling in local recruits. It's like 2020 Clemson. They don't even recruit the state of SC anymore unless there's a 5* available.
Alabama
Georgia, LSU, Florida
AU, Texas A&M
Tenn
UofSC, Ole Miss, Arkansas
MSU, Mizzu, UK
Vandy

As a relative newcomer to the SEC what makes Auburn better than Ole Miss or MSU?
Serious question.

Not only do Ole Miss and MSU beat each other up in state, they also have other programs come in and cherrypick some of their better players as well.

But you have to assume you're a fresh face in these programs so the recruiting would change with saban gone unless they got dabo or something.

Uhhh, just about everything? FFS, Ole Miss had a coach leave just to come coach at Auburn.

Better in state talent, closer proximity to a lot of really good players in Georgia that grew up closer to Auburn than Athens

Auburn is a hop skip and a jump away from Atlanta, one of the biggest recruiting hot beds in the country. They have a much bigger athletic budget. The state of Alabama is larger with more recruits to choose from. Ole Miss and State have to compete with not only each other for players, but also LSU and to a lesser extent, the Alabama and Tennessee schools. And in a state of only about 3 million people, that's a tall task. They also don't have near the winning tradition Auburn does.

1) LSU
We've got over 120 years worth of CFB data and somehow LSU is the top job in the conference? And Georgia is second? I'd say those administrations have been incompetent at best for century if that's the case, and downright negligent at worst
Some of the highest rated recruits that Bama has signed in the last decade are from Georgia and Louisiana, you'll have to spare me the "home state recruiting" argument as your main premise

Not a bad list.
When it comes to recruiting, you're splitting hairs between LSU, Bama, UGA, and UF (should be at least).

Bigger school,better facilities,more money
and located about an hour from metro Atlanta and the closest SEC school to the Florida boarder.
Lots of geographic advantages

You are?If you are going by in-state talent,Georgia had 40 blue chip recruits
in 2019,Alabama had 15 and Louisiana 16.
Florida had close to 50.

Kentucky is a sneaky good job because as a basketball school we are happy being competitive. Win 7 games a year and every 3 or 4 years sneak up to challenge for the East like we did in 2018 and we will build you a statue while paying you 5 million a year.

1. Florida (talent all over the place, good academics)
2. Georgia (slightly less talent, slightly less academics)
3. LSU (a good town to party, good talent, terrible degree)
4. BAMA (average at everything else, excellent at football)
5. Texas A&M (tons of money to spend on the program)
6. Auburn (poor man's UGA)
7. Tennessee (used to be good, still has name recognition)
8. Ole Miss (pay for play baby!)
9. South Carolina (close to the beach at least)
10. Missouri (history of putting d-lineman in the league)
11. Miss St. (Mike Leach would be fun to play for)
12. Kentucky (maybe get to make friends with a future NBA player)
13. Arkansas (lol)
14. Vandy (should be #1 in a perfect world, what kid wouldn't want to live (party) in Nashville, receive a world class education AND play in the SEC? Saban would make Vandy a powerhouse)
2. Georgia (slightly less talent, slightly less academics)
3. LSU (a good town to party, good talent, terrible degree)

Yes. Total number of recruits isn't the only relevant variable.
Are you as dumb as you seem? Honest question, bc in this thread and in the previous one, you seem very remedial. No judgment, just trying to assess.
