Right but lets not all rush to the NCAA after crapping on the organization for decades. Their rules don't have much relevance anymore after Alston vs. NCAA and the organization itself has said colleges should pay more attention to state laws rather than NCAA directives from here on out.
And more telling, there is a suit winding through the courts at the moment (House vs. NCAA) that is trying to overturn all NIL restrictions. The NCAA has tried to shut it down twice but been rejected by Federal judges.

I will concede he probably lied about that, I would be fairly certain he probably knows what the various players are paid out of NIL. But again, that point doesnt matter, he did not say we dont use NIL, he just stated that we didnt buy our class with it.
Until the rant comes up with a way to prove that all 20+ people picked A&M only because of the money they were offered, he can stand by the statement that we didnt buy the class.

No one cares if A&M uses NIL.
They care that A&M may have broken rules by telling recruits exact monetary details of guaranteed NIL deals to entice them to sign with A&M.
The most important thing Jimbo denied was that A&M was using NIL as a recruiting tool.
The violation in the video is not major but that a coach on video is so excited and eager to commit the violation in talking NIL "if you come here" to recruits sure doesn't support the picture Jimbo painted of how seriously A&M has taken not using NIL as a recruiting tool.

We all know this place is more Jerry Springer than a forum for rigorous intellectual discovery. I just didn't expect folks to be clinging to Nick Saban's skirts as he talks out of both sides of his mouth.
