That's not a knock on LSU, they can't help the polls.

But seriously? What teams would be ranked that high after that many losses??

They will finish in the top 10. State will finish unranked.

Shouldnt even have rankings till week 6 or so. Preseason rankings always blow

I know “Bama just reloads,” but Alabama had 3 starters returning on defense last year I believe.

The idea was Texas put together a few solid classes and would improve talent-wise, but lack experience. Which still could be the case. With that said, Boyce (#32 I think?) is pretty bad for them.

This. We had multiple injuries Saturday. I do not see us keeping those numbers with as thin as we are.

No they wont. Texas will lose to Oklahoma and may drop another game as well.

8 starters on defense is a tough deal to fix in one season

Just saying that LSU did their job. PERIOD.. ALL STOP.

But let's not act like this TX team was worthy of #9. They were not.

I think Texas may beat Oklahoma personally. Either way they will not drop a game other than OU and if they don’t finish top 10 they will be darn close.

Texas's offense played like a top 10 team, and their quarterback was at least as good as advertised.

Texas defense would be a top 10 Group of 5 defense.

Also, LSU's receivers are for real

WTF does that even mean????

No.. You are not a top 10 team. Most of the SEC would beat you

It means they'd be a top 10 Group of 5 defense, meaning they aren't that good.

They are no Duke for sure, but definitely close to New Mexico State.
