Same. I'm pretty sure the LSU D-Line broke Cox that game. Not that he was ever fast, but he looked like he was wearing cement cleats every game after. It was the hardest hitting game I have ever seen in person.

I was at the 2004 game. It's one of the best, hardest hitting games I've ever been to. The touchdown pass and then the Roeegreen int are the loudest I've heard Jordan-Hare...well one of the loudest.

Didn’t Cox beat up some poster here?

Nawl. NGT had a internet bitch fight with another X-Auburn QB who threatened to kick his arse at a burger joint

Thus the "Meet at Sonic" was born.

John Parker Wilson caught a lot of shite but the guy was tougher than a 2 dollar steak. He’d get his head knocked off and hop up and jaw at the guy that did it.

Lane Bearden played an entire season punting on a torn ACL, and destroyed a few punt returners in the process

I also watched Tyler Wilson get rocked on damn near every drop back in Bryant Denny in 2011. Kid just kept dragging himself off the turf and asking for more

That is not where Meet at Sonic came from. That was from a Wholeo and HonkifuvcoachedforBama YouTube

Where meet at sonic began

Felt bad for him until I had to watch Austin Allen get crushed every game the past two years

That and 2012 WLOCP were the hardest hitting SEC games I've ever watched.

And yeah, Brandon Cox was a tough, tough dude. That guy took an absolute beating in some games and just kept on playing.

A lot of people don't remember that Brandon Cox played 4 years of SEC football with myasthenia gravis, which as I understand it is a neuromuscular condition that causes weakness in the muscles that are responsible for breathing. Dude was tougher than anybody on this board ever. I have mad respect for BC.

Some are. Some are not.

Bama and Georgia are holy wars. frick every generation of those assholes. LSU I can take or leave cause they got good food. Plus, their fans are silly and smell like corndogs. I like corndogs.

Brandon and I worked together for 6 months until he moved on to another step in his career. Very nice guy and I enjoyed talking to him about his SEC career. I was surprised when I first met him though. He was about 200 lbs and thin. I told him he looked much bigger on TV. He said they he was about 25 -30 lbs heavier at Auburn.

Tuberville defenses at Auburn were so scary. They were all so fast and it seemed like every tackle was like watching someone getting hit by a race car.

He knew how to get the most out of his talent and a lot of the speed on D was him moving guys from other positions to LB.

Karlos Dansby was recruited to be a safety and Dontarrius Thomas was recruited as a WR. They ended up being one of the best LB duos I have ever seen.
