they already have a schedule advantage. their "rival" extra divisional opponent is permanently broke. Every team has hard October games makes November games even across the board.

Yep. Bama doesn't have to play Bama.

That's not going to change.

Incorrect. Played them 3 years ago.

And you think that helps your argument? Point is....LSU never plays those teams on a regular basis.

I think Johnny Football game at Tuscaloosa was the last October SEC game Alabama had that was competitive.

[quote]I mean, LSU fans are still screaming over playing Alabama twice in 2011, but you think it is perfectly reasonable for UGA and Alabama to play 2-3 times in a season.

That's not what we're saying. Merely pointing out that 'Bama should play Georgia as often as we play Florida.

LSU had AU, Ga, and Fla in October. Big disadvantage to roll into Nov. after that. Tough games. Injuries.

You said LSU never plays those teams. You weren't being truthful.

Bama doesn't play them on a regular basis either.

and ms state in October. Bama has never played an October schedule like that since I have been alive. Or anyone else in the division. Bias scheduling. Easily remedied by new scheme presented in original post.

Which is exactly why I'm glad we played Rice before the A&M game. There's a reason for those "cupcake" games.Just saying....

Lol "October schedule".

LSU literally plays Vanderbilt next year on the rotation. Need to hold off another year to start bitching again

Easier way to fix it.

Agree with Alabama and Auburn and change to 9 SEC games.

2 Rotating Cross division games and one Permanent.

So your idea to improve the SEC, is to guarantee that one of the best two teams in the SEC from the previous year gets a loss in October. Hmm...

i would be down with 9 if the 3 games were all based on last season ranking. no permanents. no powerhouses beating up on weaker schools.

Yes. Tennessee is permanently broken. Thats a rent a win for bama every year. Its should all be rotating based on performance. Dont really need championship game anymore.

My preferred schedule would be 10 Conference games.

3 Rotating and one permanent.

This way every team would play every team in a 4 year period.

Every Player would get to play in every stadium of the conference during their 4 years of eligibility.

This would ensure two best teams make Atlanta championship game.

Didn't they?

If you want to do this, just eliminate divisions.
