1. Eliminate divisional scheduling bias.

Everyone plays game against other division on 1st week of October and 3rd week of October.

Opponent based on last years final standing.

SEC West #1 plays SEC East #1 and #2

SEC West #7 plays SEC East #7 and #6.

Give SEC East teams home field one week and SEC West teams home field other week.

You get the idea.

2. No cupcake November. Only Divisional games in November.

3. Everyone has bye 2nd week of October. Eliminate Bye date bias.

This would ensure two best teams make Atlanta championship game.

If all conferences adopted the model you could just put only conference champions in playoff at end of year.

That is biased. Tougher games go to the better teams?

Thats the idea. Extra divisional games should not dictate divisional champs. Or prevent teams from going to better bowl games at the end.

There is no reason a top team in the West needs to play the bottom 2 teams in the East every year. Its an advantage that should not exist.

But when you pit the better teams always playing the better teams that is the very definition of bias.

bi·ased
['bi?st]
ADJECTIVE

unfairly prejudiced for or against someone or something.
"we will not tolerate this biased media coverage"

When you pit the best against the best it is biased for the weaker teams.

Its a much better deal for all schools and would really benefit teams like Kentucky and Vandy. Potentially give them a chance at new years bowls. They currently have no chance of that if they play bama/lsu/auburn/tamu each year.

LUSers not just crying over schedules already, they are by inference crying over the "SEC Office in Birmingham" that "sets schedules and bye weeks."

Here is the perfect non-biased SEC schedule according to LSU fans.
(1) Vanderbilt,
(2) Arkansas (unless they are good, must play them before it gets cold);
(3) Kentucky (only if they are having a tough season;
(4) Ole Miss (only while they are on probation);
(5) Miss State (unless they have a Dak on the roster);
(6) Missouri (must see if they are good first);
(7) South Carolina (only if there is a hurricane and can get the game played at LSU at night) (8) Tennessee (unless they are showing signs of developing.)

Freaking cry babies and little melters.

everyone could continue to play 3 rent a win out of conference games. No need to give big money games to Big 10, big 12, acc, etc..

Love the November cupcakes. Gives a team a chance to rest some tired regulars as well as play some guys who haven't played much during the season. A team can recharge their proverbial batteries and be fresh for the stretch run.

LSU leaving would improve it. We wouldn't have to listen to JFK type conspiracy theories as excuses to why your football team is not dominant.

Now LSU fans believe that the sec took a deliberate shot by not drooling all over Devin whites award and plastering it all over the media. Y'all go put up a billboard somewhere.

SEC doing just fine. If Dawgs held serve we’d have a 3rd SEC v SEC MNC game. No need to change a thing.
