Okay, without checking, who did UGA beat to win the natty and what was the score? Not to mention, where was the game played?

Notre Dame
19-6 (I think)
Sugar Bowl so it was in New Orleans

Herschel Walker separated his shoulder in the first series and played the rest of the game with it that way.

And, no, I didn't look any of that up. Dude. I am 63 years old.

I mean, how old are you guys? I get it that 63 is getting on up there, but you act like 39 years ago was a long time ago. I mean, I told you how old I am...now tell me how old you are. If you think 39 years old is old, I would be willing to bet you don't remember LSU's last NC before this one.

ETA
Just went back and checked because I thought I had the score wrong...and it was 17-10.

He was eligible at 43.

Being eligible to retire and retiring is two different things. I mean, typically at that age you have a long time to make the nest egg last. I was fortunate that my wife has a great job...my 401K has done extremely well, and I started drawing my pension. I had a pretty stressful job and my company came out with a great package, so I pulled the trigger.

Kudos to your dad for making it work!

He had a state retirement so he just had to put the years in. Hurricane Katrina ended up really helping him out in the long run.

Your championship blue balls have nothing to do with whether Newman will have a good year or not so not seeing the connection.

You seem insecure.
