Most LSU fans are just disappointed at Chief being a little bitch. Now we get an upgrade at DC. Thanks, Texas A&M.

Not much. But it did give the ags another "hey look at us" bid for relevancy. They are at least 0-5 in that area in the last 3 years.

honestly losing chavis really isnt that big of deal at all. if it ends up screwing our defense it will expedite miles departure and in the long run might be a blessing in disguise. I'll pretend to be super pissed about if you want me to but in reality lsu has much bigger issues than him.
When saban left for the dolphins i was pissed and melted. When chavis left i really just didnt care.

I think this will become a great rivalry. The hate from LSU for A&M is palpable. Chavis adds fuel to the fire. Geographically, they should be great recruiting rivals.
I think it is a good thing and might get both teams to step up even more.

Meh. It truly is that our fanbase expected some form of changes after this season. Didnt expect it to be Chavis, but its also absurd to pay the guy 1.7 million to be half a college coach no matter what his schemes are. He teaches basic schemes very well and gets his players to buy in. Theres nothing magical about the guy and he doesnt like to recruit.
Truth be told though Id let the media know that the new coordinator was making 400,000 dollars extra his first year though. Outta spite after pulling a stunt like this though. If thats a melt then congrats you got your melt.
