No matter how hard you try, you can’t erase the best season of all time.

Sorry about the last 40 years.

Why are LLLsu fans the only ones that believe this? There’s 5-6 other ‘greatest of all time teams’ that would easily beat ‘19 LLLsu.

When these guys committed they didn’t realize they’d actually have to play for the Natty and win a ring unlike Bowl Cut and Georgia.

Except they didn't which makes your point moot.

According to Pro Football Focus, LSU’s offensive line actually graded out as a very average unit last year. Their offense played at a historically great level entirely due to Joe Burrow and their skill position players along with Joe Brady’s brilliant offensive skills. And Orgeron brought in all of those guys except CEH. He deserves all of the credit in the world for LSU’s incredible offense last year.

Exactly this. Joe Burrow was as important to the LSU football program as Tim Tebow was to the University of Florida. Only downside is his tenure only lasted 2 years. Last year only exists because of Joe. Joe only exists at LSU cause of O.

Very little honestly. Most the players committed to Less and Busch convinced Burrell to come to LSU.

Yet this is the worst LSU team since the 90’s

Yep, Burrow's elusiveness papered over a ton of issues. I still think he got pressured more than any SEC QB other than Vandy's

Yep, but homers like SoloKKKam know that, but it doesn’t fit his 0 nut sucking agenda.

Joe Burrow was on the team in 2018 and looked average at best. It wasn't until Steve Ensminger went down to the Saints practice and met Joe Brady and then encouraged Ed Orgeron to hire him. Then the offense changed to showcase Joe Burrows skills.

So who gets credit for the Joe Brady hire?

He was lights out the last 5 games of 2018. It took him a little time to adjust to LSU and just being a starter but it was obvious he was a gamer from jump.

Damn I didn’t read all of that but I’m just sitting here smiling thinking about all the time you put in to researching info to make this thread.

Last year only exists because of Coach Brady. Coach O had very little to do with it. Joe Burrow would have been a 6th or 7th round draft pick and a very mediocre QB if Brady is not hired at LSU. LSU should fire Coach O and go hire Brady as head coach at the end of the year.

2018 was down and the top players have left. Very simple.

Was that the stretch of Arkansas 24-17, Rice 42-10, A&M 74-72L, and UCF 40-32?
