And we are all supposed to take you seriously when you say your scout team walk-on QB is better than Jalen? Yeah you’re the pied piper of QB evaluation. Have a great weekend man.

I'm sure we have a poster or two. But I don't recall ever saying all Gator fans are alike.

Yeah you should look at those numbers again. He’s not a bad QB he’s just limited as a passer. That’s doesn’t take away from him being able to beat out 3 older guys and win that locker room over like he did, as a true freshman. He’s a good player and would 100% start at at least 8-9 other SEC schools.

IMO, he'd be a great fit for certain offenses and a poor fit in others. He could work in Chip Kelly's offense at UCLA. His best fit would be a Pat White style when RichRod really had WVU rolling. Maybe Penn State under Franklin, too.

You don't have to be a gator fan with an IQ of 75 to realize that he did not deserve that award

That's still a lot better than being undeserving of a scholarship like a walk on scout team QB

If you gave Stetson Bennett Alabama's offensive line, running backs, and receiving core, I guarantee you that he would throw for more than 2,000 yards in 14 games. I guarantee it.

First of all, 2016 was a terrible year for the sec. 2nd of all, Josh Dobbs was better than hurts in 2016 at both running and passing. Hurts winning it over him shows it was more of a team award than it should have been.

If Stetson Bennett was as good as you claim he was, he would have been on scholarship coming out of HS and wouldn't have had to walk on.

Yeah that Josh Dobbs guy never made a bad pass, is this a joke? Are you guys really trying to make the argument Josh Dobbs is a better passer than Hurts? Dobbs looked absolutely terrible throwing the ball. He was still a good college QB, but he was no better of a passer than Hurts is in my opinion.

I'm not Kirby so I don't determine how to allocate scholarships, but I do know that Stetson has been giving our defense fits every time they've had to go up against him in practice. Apparently he does a much better job than Jalen did against our D in the natty.
