Umm the NFL proved Johnny was limited as a passer

Now you're comparing apples to oranges. If that's the case, then the NFL also proved that Spurrier, Wuerffel, and Tebow were all "limited" as passers.

What are Jalen’s numbers if he has Kiffin or Mullen calling plays his Sophomore year? Better yet what are his numbers if he’s the center piece of his offense like those other guys were and not Bama’s stable of running backs? Who was the best RB Cam, Tebow, Johnny, or Dak played with? Seems like there may be more to this argument too me.

I'm not even convinced that he would make UGA's roster.

Well, you are a dumbass. He was the SEC offensive player of the year two years ago.

Look at his numbers that year, a-hole. He didn't deserve it. He got it simply for being Bama's QB.

Would Kiffin or Mullen have made a difference in him missing a wide open receiver in the end zone during the national championship game? He literally threw that ball 7 yards short. What about all the shitty passes he threw in the Sugar Bowl. He sucks. All of the talent he had around him propped him up into looking mediocre.

Well, this is a good off-season thread. It fulfills the requirement of being dumb as shite.

Your scout team QB is better than a one time SEC offensive player of the year? That’s a hot take. Never change Georgia fans.

So if any random Florida poster says something that is totally off the wall, we should assume all Florida fans feel the same way?

Never change Florida fans.

Every QB makes a bad throw from time to time, this is just a weird thread, he’s obviously a good player.

Yeah because throwing for 2,780 yards in 15 games definitely earns you offensive player of the year honors.

You are only looking at a part of the picture. he also ran for 950 yards and was Alabama's second leading rusher. That makes a difference. He also threw for 23TD passes and ran for 13 more. Those are not Tebow/Manziel numbers, but they are very good numbers. Add to that, that he had a 62.8% completion rate, and thta is not bad at all.

Take your pick. 2016 numbers:
Austin Allen-3,430 yards passing
Joshua Dobbs-2,946 yards passing, completed 63% of his passes, rushed for 831 yards.
Drew Lock-3,399 yards passing
Nick Fitzgerald-2,423 yards passing and 1375 yards rushing (more total yards than Jalen despite playing two less games)

Now post Jalen’s entire stat line along with his completion percentage. You will see that he was the best player that year. It is what it is.

Probably about as well as you know how to evaluate quarterbacks, I understand your need to change the subject, my apologies for the incorrect grammar.

If I post his entire stat line compared to the entire stat lines of the QB's mentioned above it actually makes Jalen look worse. Dobbs and Fitzgerald both had more total yards despite playing fewer games.

Jalen needs a system that fits his strengths.

He would fit in well with Kentucky, Mullen, or Tennessee's (UT may change under Pruitt though) spread running style.

Mizzou threw too much last year for Jalen to fit, but who knows what Dooley will do. Ole Miss also threw too much for Jalen.

Vanderbilt and TAMU are pro style now so no.

South Carolina maybe because they are supposedly trying to play really fast this year, and Bentley is turnover prone.

Jalen would fit in well with Gus, but Stidham is probably better.

Fitz and Jalen are pretty similar players, so Miss State is a maybe.

LSU and Arkansas are maybes as well. I don't know what to expect from either teams quarterbacks or offense.

Georgia and Bama no.

I don't know how to evaluate QB's? Dude, you said Manziel was limited as a passer even though his '12 and '13 seasons were two of the greatest individual passing seasons for a QB in SEC history. I can't even take you seriously.
