I’m just laughing at you people already talking about beating Bama AND also winning out the remaining SEC schedule FYI both of which are extremely difficult. For example, look at 2014 Ole Miss. they beat Bama early in the season and got big headed assuming that the rest of the schedule were automatic W’s. Then they got snuck by a horrible 8-5 LSU team.
My point is, that take the thing one game at a time. A&M can beat Alabama but that doesn’t mean the west is won. They beat Bama then slip up again and it lets Bama back into the CFP picture.

As an Aggie fan, I hate seasons with high expectations. I spend all season knowing we’re gonna frick it up somehow. It’s what we do. Hopefully, Jimbo will break that syndrome.

Whatever this is, how it comes to be, in certain A&M fans heads...yikes. Sigmund Freud explored ego, but the opium got him before he could figure A&M fantasy egos out.
Whatever forces enable yell leaders to seem normal is at play here. My theory: little brother to Texas and LSU.
