I think you have to take a one or a two loss conference champion from a major conference over a two loss SEC winner tbh
WHAT??? A 2 loss major conference winner over a 2 loss SEC champ? NO WAY, at least not until somebody beats the SEC champ for the NC.
A 1 loss (non SEC)conference champ over a 2 loss SEC champ is a strong possibility though.

Well what I meant was that you absolutely have to take a 1 loss major conference winner over a 2 loss SEC winner. I just typed it poorly. It's hot outside

We will always be in the top 10 preseason.
thanks for the highlight partner, but i know what i wrote.
yea, preseason, as in starting the year in the top 10. anybody starting the season ranked that high has a chance to win it all, even with a loss.
if you start unranked in the preseason and end up with a loss, you'll have no chance at winning it all.

Every year he is there.
With Saban there, bama has the annual built-in advantage of always starting out at the top, a la Oklahoma and Texas.
Always much easier to stay at the top when the butt-lickers in the state and national media ensure you always start there.

bama will be in contention every year he's there, imo.
why would saban leave? he's at a top 5 program with unlimited resources and getting like 100 brazillion dollars a year.
i don't see the top 4 teams in the west having coaching vacancies for the next 3-4 years (at least).
Nutt will be let go, Mullen will move to greener pastures.
Petrino, CHeez, Saban, and Miles all have it made with their current contracts, facilities, and fans.

Bama should win it this year. Even if your qb sucks as long your defensive line remembers how to rush the qb you should win the sec and stomp someone in the nc game.

Who wouldn't wanna leave a great job for a program about to get raped by the NCAA?
