I never want anyone to fail. Just my opinion that it's going to take a while for him to be good OR he'll fail.
I know I won't judge him on his first year playing, that's for sure. Manning was horrible his first year.

I look forward to seeing his failure just like Jason Campbell. As a fan of football i like to think i can pick out a skill set that will fail or succeed. If Cam succeeds then i am wrong and have to turn in my arm chair QB ID card. Plus they are cheaters

Kind of a complicated for me. Big Panthers fan but also a big Cam hater. It's gonna be interesting to see what happens. If Cam fails, then the team as a whole probably won't be any better than last year. I can't root for Cam to fail if I want the Panthers to win...everybody knows that.

I want him to fail more miserably than Jamarcus for two reasons. The NFC South is tough enough already without the Panthers getting good again, and I'll end up throwing a remote through my TV if I have to keep seeing that fake as hell shite eating grin of his. Purely material reasons. Nothing personal against him.

Don't think he will do good at all, unless they have the same offense. If the 1st receiver is not open, tuck and run, then he'll do ok.

Can he read (defenses), study (playbook), follow rules (insert any),?...........he's already failed before for the first sack. I never want to see any one fail. I would like to see him lying on his back with his teeth chattering like in the NC game one more time.

If he were playing for the Saints, he'd be beloved by all.
Reggie Bush was beloved by Saints fans even though his cheating was exposed.
Nobody cares what college kids did once they turn pro.
I hope Cam represents the SEC well as a pro. He played for two SEC teams so he is one of our own.

Heck, I don't really wish ANYBODY to fail. I just am not of the opinion that Newton will make it as a QB in the NFL. Maybe he'll prove me wrong, but I just don't see it.
