It's a collective inferiority complex. They've never accomplished shite, so they spend all their time trying to tear down better programs with their shite-talk while bragging about off the field things nobody cares about.
That's why they've been creating posts about how much they're paying their coaches, talk about money all the time, and brag about things like how many student tickets they sold. That's also why they're paying ridiculous salaries to coaches that haven't accomplished anything. It's so they can say they "pay as much or better than the big boys".
