Think we'll lose? No. I'm damn unsure of a win at the same time. In a game like this, with two teams loaded with talent, I'll usually take the team with the better running game. Texas has got the talent to beat anyone though. It'll be a close one. Toss that 4 point spread out the window...it could go either way.

They tried. They ran defensive schemes alot like what auburn did if I am not mistaken. Didn't help though.

Florida decided to have their worse game against a great Bama team. Will Bama play as good as they did in the SECCG? I just don't see McElroy doing a running down the sideline balancing act again, and having the game of his life again.
Texas has a very good running defense. It will be a ball game, of that I have no doubt.

Beyond that based on your comment above and the thread title you're saying that to be a "realistic bammer" you need to think Bama will lose to Texas.

realistic? So basically if we think we are going to beat Texas we aren't being realistic? Why do we have to think we will lose to be considered a "realistic" fan?

Can Texas beat Bama? yes it is possible but not likely. Texas is not an extremely powerful team, their offense is suspect their only saving grace has been their defense.

Eh. I believe the exact opposite. Texas IS an extremely powerful team. And I certainly won't be looking at this as an easy win and by God our players better not be either. They better have learned their lesson from the Sugar Bowl.
