I bet he's gone... His goal was to promote his son. No way he stays around.

He has two sons on the team.

He'll be coaching the Cowboys next season.

He will be at Arkansas in 2026.

Hopefully forever.
Actually I hope he gets the FSU job so he can run them into the ground.

After getting skull drug by BYU and losing his 2 big fishes in Shedur and Travis, he might want to hide under a rock. They played no one and haven’t beaten a ranked team in 2 years.

He coached his final Colorado game last night.

He would not run them in the ground.
He took a 1-11 Colorado to 9-4 this season.
He has one of the better 5 star QB commits.
He has a Heisman.
Most think he did pretty well at CU.

I was about to post that I think he ends up at FSU after next season.

They played no one - avoided top 3 in conference and haven’t beaten a ranked team in 2 years. They got slaughtered by BYU. It wasn’t even close.

i havent watched like any colorado games tbh, but recruiting is like 90% of being a successful college football coach and he'a proved he can do that. i don't know if he has the ability to survive in the big dick poker that gets played in the playoffs and SEC though. I can definitely see him going to FSU and clowning on the ACC but i dont know if he really wants to coach other than for his kids and if they can beat the big baws in a playoff

All of this. These guys are so triggered by Prime Time. Deion rose Colorado up like a Phoenix from the ashes. Now they're talked about all over the nation. Merchandise sales are up. Publicity is at an all time high. Enrollment has increased. You have to be blind to not see that this has been very successful for Colorado.

Guy took a crap team and made them good. Matt Rhule is praised for that here, Deion isn’t.

yet they're not in a 12 team playoff that frickin arizona state and smu made.

Yes and Gene Chizik won a national title, as did Ed Orgeron. Coaches can succeed in spite of themselves. Let him try and stay somewhere for any decent amount of time. Jackson State wasn't happy the way he left them and Colorado won't be either.

To move up though the competition increases and all he had done is beat teams he should be at.

Outside of retirement, a school is never happy the way a coach leaves them.

So many haters.
Dude took a tire fire football program and made them must see viewing. Now, he's got a winning season and a 5 star QB freshman. He's a top recruiter and plays in a soft conference.
He will be challenging for college playoffs every year now.
He's not going anywhere.
