How long will Mississippi State fans put up with John Cohen.

This guy is bad news. The hiring of Mike Leach was a desperation move after the Moorhead debacle. Cohen had no intention of hiring Leach until his other top choices turned him down.
Now Cohen has run off Vic Schaefer. Schaefer in recent months had bought a hundred acres of land near Starkville and was building a multimillion dollar home on said land(reportedly 3 million dollars). Schaefer couldn't take Cohen no more and left a preseason top 5 team returning. Hearing there is so much turmoil and unhappy people in the MSU Athletic Department under Cohen that nobody knows what is happening.

Mike Leach is a great fit for them. It's MISSISSIPPI STATE not Oklahoma.

Who would be a better realistic hire than Mike Leach?

Also, do you have any proof of Cohen running off Vic?

I have no issues with Moo State hiring him. With today's attendance declining, entertainment is becoming a bigger part of a HC's responsibilities & his teams have been, and will be, that on the field. Off the field, he will always be getting attention for his quirkiness & attention, good or bad, is seldom a bad thing. Now, as for Cohen..................

He ran off Schaefer, Mullen, had NCAA issues with football and men's basketball under his watch, and created a baseball scandal disaster with his hiring of Cann a Pantszo

That's a problem. Compared to Stricklin, nothing

? Stricklin didn’t do shite. Had an easy tenure as AD then ran off to Florida to get his big hire in Mullen so he could make bank.

Don’t give me Howland because he just showed up.
Cohen had had to handle multiple metaphorical fires across programs has so far had us come out okay. We’ve had good baseball teams since the Cann firing. We were able to replace Moorhead with ease.
We’re moving forward across all programs despite setbacks and scandals.

Go ask people in the college Athletic Industry who's more respected, Cohen or Stricklin. 9 to 1 it will be Stricklin. Cohen is a nasty cluster#!$.

Uh Cohen hired Moorhead and Cannizaro so literally 2 of these having to fires were on him.

And yes Stricklin hired Schaefer and Howland and knew not to get in Mullens way. Unlike Cohen who thought he was easy replaceable.

And literally all the setbacks and scandals were avoidable with a competent AD

Of course Stricklin is.

Who in the world hires a baseball coach to be their AD in this decade? It's cost us dearly and we're looking out of the golden age as a result.

Schaefer just may be the best coach in MSU's entire history. Can't believe they ran him off.

I thought you said he was coming back to Aggieland? How the hell did you let an Aggie go to Texas? Even Brutus didn't betray Julius Cesar like that

frick off with this revisionist nonsense. MSU fans were cheering on both hires.

You know something else? We were in the position to easily axe both coaches. A lot of big programs aren’t in that position.

I’d much rather cycle coaches when one doesnt work out than be stuck with a loser like Jimbo Fisher.
