That QB makes it work, without him it is much easier to stop. Not to discredit some very good wrs, the QB gets it to them by extending the play.

Chief already figured it out - fast line backers and physical DB's - it was right there on the tape of our game with atm.

LOL at LSU fans. Yeah, all you need to stop it is a defense full of four and five star elite level athletes, a freshman QB making his seventh career start, four turnovers and six drops to stop our offense.

In the last two seasons LSU's Defenses have taken down UO, WVU, and aTm with arguably the three strongest offensive minds in the game.

In all 3 games the LSU D has given up a decent amount of yards, and forced an absurd amount of turnovers. At some point that is just not a coincidence, and it isn't just unforced errors by the other players, unless they just shite themselves looking at the freaks LSU lines up on D.

LSUs Defense has arguably the best track record against these offenses in the entire country.

The Ags' kicker lost that game for them - 2 missed field goals and 1 extra point, and the mighty LSU defense had absolutely NOTHING to do with that.

Really 2 missed FG's and an extra point lost you the game?!

Your grasping at straws man

If UF, LSU and Bama have perfectly stopped is after 1 quarter of play, how come everybody keeps letting us kick them in the dick for 15 minutes? Pretty arrogant for Bama to spot us 3 TDs when all they had to do was mimic LSUs apparent perfect defensive play to stop us

First game of the year, new coaches, new scheme, fish qb making first college start. Take away? You all faced an extremely limited, watered-down version of Sumlin's offense. Yea you all didn't make mistakes and did what it took to get the W, but we're playing a little better on that side of the ball now if you haven't noticed. We'd hang 30+ on you all if we played next Saturday

I don't think it's necessarily the offense. I think it's the QB. If aTm didn't have Johnny, they would be 6-6, 5-7 this year IMHO.

UF has struggled with Mizzou and ULaLa the last couple of weeks

if aTm played UF today aTm wins 9 out of 10 times. UF is just so f'ing lucky they got JFF in his first ever collegiate start and his first live action in nearly 2 years.

He's averaging 300 yds passing/game. Go back and check his passing stats in that game. Hell, he didn't even attempt a pass 10 yards beyond the line of scrimmage in that game.

You guys don't have a modest bone in your bodies. You beat us. I accept that, but you act like one game and you figured out how to stop Johnny a d this offense forever. tHe offense gets better every week. If we played you or Florida this week, Johnny beats you both.I gaurantee he beats you the next 2 years.

And this is true. It's not like Alabama did not stop them at all during the game.

You realize JFF is a redshirt freshman and eligible for the draft after next season?

I'm as big a JFF fan as there exists.

BUT... his style is perfectly suited for college and horrible for pro. Good college player does not always translate to good pro player. When he does go pro, he's probably going to be a late round to undrafted free agent project kinda guy.

If it wasn't for a garbage TD we give up 12 pts

Garbage = 12 point game, touchdown and onsides kick recovery could equal a loss?

To me, garbage time is when you're up by 30 and the game is safely away. A 12 point game.. not away.
