It happened to Kentucky swimmer Riley Gaines at the NCAA championships.

Put another way, how does in not disadvantage women?
There’s a fundamental reason why women don’t compete in sports against men. Men are bigger, faster, stronger than women.
Just because a man wants to pretend to be a woman, and surgically alters his body, doesn’t make him a woman. Once born a man, He will always be a man.
I will never understand why anyone could possibly think, men pretending to be women, participating in women’s sports is a good thing.

Riley Gaines. Tied with trans man Lia Thomas at NCAA championships and they gave the freak the trophy. He walked around in the locker room showing his junk.

This 1000%. My 13 year old is the ace on her select team. She often plays up against 18U teams. And lemme tell you some of those girls can hit. I can’t imagine her having to pitch against a dude dressed up like a girl.
Thankful to live in a conservative state w a conservative government.

They aren’t really men. They are somewhere in-between

Because liberals are counter-educated.

Its not good for women and thankfully is incredibly rare that some moron would come along and want to do it. There are somewhere in the neighborhood of 8 million kids playing high school sports in the United States. There is somewhere in the neighborhood of 125,000 high school aged kids in the United States, based on data from organizations supporting the ban of biological males competing against biological females. There are right at 17.5 Million high school aged kids in the US so about 46% participate in some sort of organized sport. If the same number of trans kids participate (unlikely) that would be 56% of trans kids or 7/10ths of the total population of high school aged kids participating in high school sports. That is not the number who would be participating in the wrong gender sport, thats the total number.....it is MINISCULE relative to the number of kids playing high school sports.
Its a very strange thing for sooooo many people to get worked up over...it is almost unheard of, in fact it is so rare when it does happen it is a major news story.

Does this happen in the SEC?
It doesn't happen on a meaningful scale anywhere. Where it has happened it certainly impacts individuals but it is so rare as to actually be an event when it has happened. Thankfully.

Riley has gotten a lot of attention concerning that guy robbing her of a clean fourth place in that race...
But the good news is that three women kicked his arse in that same race.
Which is going to happen to most guys who try to pull this shite at the higher levels...
They are going to get their arse kicked by the really good women in that event. At the elite level.. you better be a darn good male athlete if you plan on transitioning and winning the Olympics as a woman.
Where I feel bad is at lower levels.... where an average male athlete can usually beat the girls.
My feeling is that if you haven't had the surgery... you shouldn't be able to compete as the other gender. If you are crazy enough to get your tallywacker extracted... just to beat women in a race... that means you are pretty crazy... So maybe we should go ahead and let you race them as a matter of public safety.

The lunacy will continue until someone with cash to burn and a wish to reverse it steps up and pays three Five Star men’s basketball players to say “I’m taking my talent to Texas State and I feel like a girl” and then watches them win four consecutive national championships in women’s basketball.

If you’re talking about the trans issue, the head of NCAA said that out of 514,000 athletes, under 10 are trans.
Now, if you’re talking about Neil Degrasse Tyson, he has talked about why some Olympic sports are broken into M/W & should be united (like equestrian).
Also, he has talked about males with more estrogen in their body or females with more testosterone. They’re not trans, so where are they placed in the discussion?

Hormones can be regulated (suppressed or boosted) and for the longest time when it came to competition we thought that was all that mattered but it’s more than that. You don’t lose the gains you make from puberty even if you suppress testosterone. A trans woman’s strength will absolutely go down with estrogen and by pretty large percentages but on average it’s still going to be higher than a reg female. This is why non trans women who have biological differences that produce advantages are often either excluded or forced to take medications that suppress those advantages. They’re women but have a condition that effects performance enough for competition to be deemed unfair.
I don’t think completely combined events/teams are necessarily a solution either. While unified equestrian sounds good in theory it presents problems in the way of funding and roster slots. Having some open categories where men and women can compete allows competition while keeping women’s teams. A horse race doesn’t much matter who is the jockey but funding the lower levels of sport as well as national teams it becomes problematic because it forces a competition over those early resources.

Imagine how full of pus your brain has to be to get fired up about this issue.

We need to call them on their bullshite...get a college or NBA team to identify as women and go WAX the WNBA or NCAAW tournaments...maybe then they will have to consider that maybe a man can't be a woman.

I am hoping to get semi-serious responses.
I'll be happy to go far beyond "semi" with this one. People have lost their moral compass. Having these guys swinging their dongs in these girls' high school dressing rooms is reprehensible and a blight on society. To watch educators and leading politicians wink at the problem, and most of the time empower it, is equally reprehensible.
So, I'm wondering through all this mess, where is the moral conscience in all this? Organized religion has been MIA and continues to stand silent in the public press and the political field overall. The girls have been left to basically fight for themselves, and it's been a losing battle. What an indictment on the kind of people we are producing today.
