Well Arizona was #1 last week till they got dominated by the Vols, so I’m not sure how accurate it is this early in the season.

I'd be willing to bet Kessler being on the court had a lot to do with that. He almost single handedly derailed LSU's interior gameplan.
It's ok to admit we got our shite rocked. That was our first actual tough road game and now have a lot of film to learn from and improve.

I can see being worried about the shooting for lsu , but the game was 18-1 at one point and we came back to cut it to 6 against a legit top ten team with a fantastic defense on the road.
I think people are acting like auburns an average defense and that’s not true , they have a great defense.
I mean, at Auburn is the toughest game you can play in this conference . I’m glad we have a great defense because it gives us a chance when we can’t hit shite. Hopefully the loss of Murray as our potential best scorer is a reason, but I doubt it, it’s gonna be a bitch to score in the half court this year.
Defense will make it a game almost every game though

We beat an 11-1 acc team by 15
We beat a good Belmont team by 30 , they will win there conference.
There were 3 quadrant 1 or 2 games and those were blowout wins.
So it’s not like we haven’t played a good team, it’s more about playing good teams on the road and we haven’t done that til tonight.
That’s more a reason for optimism, isn’t it?

Kessler was the difference. I’m trying to stay optimistic, I mean, it’s really football conference of us to live and die after each game.
