The gamblers put action on both teams at that spread.

I assume the house just wants their 10%.

Maybe Alabama has more degenerate gamblers than Mississippi?

If you don't believe him...Go google the Shay Hodge call reversal in the 2007 Alabama vs Ole Miss game from the first year of the replay.

The Ole Miss defense is Swiss cheese. All the Bama offense has to do is run the ball between the tackles.

Ole Miss is giving up 2.9 yards a carry.

The Rant is full of morons

Primarily because Ole Miss has fared pretty badly in Tuscaloosa historically.

It’s not the act of running more than it is HOW you’re running. You’re right in that they have a line built for old school smashed mouth bama style running…..but they’re running their offense as if the line is built for a spread read-option. Quicker Dlineman can have a field day with gigantic lineman like Bamas if they aren’t running the offense to the strength of the line.

You saw a severely undersized usf dline run circles around bamas linemen. We have a very similarly speed-build defensive line.

Ole Miss ranks 4th in the SEC in defensive efficiency, T-3rd in sacks, 2nd in passes defended, 2nd in fumble recoveries. Our defense is much better than it was last season. We've given up some big plays on 3rd down, that's it.

we gave up a bunch of yards in the first halves against Tulane and GaTech while playing an incredibly vanilla soft zone. When they got near the redzone, we were able to stiffen up and shut them both done for the most part.

Our defense outscored Tulane's offense in the 2nd half.

Probably because OM lost more games at the end of last season than Bama has in years. Or the fact Bama has a lot better players and coaches than OM.

No clue. It's a long season. But you're more than welcome to try and predict the season.

Yeah Ole Miss fans are historically known for believing in themselves. They definitely don't say WAOM before and after every game.

So fourth quarters don't count. Got it.

kinda funny how he keeps talking about Ole Miss struggling but has yet to bring up the fact that Bama was only up 10-3 until 33 seconds left in the game against USF.

Ole Miss has played:

- Mercer
- Tulane (with a backup QB)
- Georgia Tech (with Haynes King)

And they struggled with 2 of 3 ?

Not as bad as we struggled with USF lol

I know transitive properties is incredibly flawed as it doesn't take teams playing way above their heads or below into consideration....but both Tulane and GT are much better teams than USF. USF has beaten like one FBS school since 2020 IIRC.
