Outstanding. He still throws the ball up and hopes for the best from his young WR. That's not going to work at all against a veteran secondary.

PASSING. Which LSU really hasn't had to do all year. Basically, what you just told me is that LSU run game is as good as, if not better, than Bamas entire offensive catalog.

Good to know.

Actually, LSU is 28 and Bama is 49
For total offense, you are 100% correct. However, I'm looking at rush and pass broken out over total offense. Updated just now and it is 51.5 Bama to 59.7 LSU.

For discussion I will now toss in that we are #1 in passes defended and interceptions in the SEC. At least, that's what was said recently I have not verified it yet.

I think this is a higher scoring game than what we're used to in this series.

Agree. Interested to see what the rain does in this one.

On third down, LSU is 25 and Bama is 111. That's gonna kill you guys IMO

This does worry me. Hopefully we can do better in this game.

Of course LSU's ground game is good. Now I am suggesting that putting a team/player in a position it has not "had to do all year" is what can force mistakes.

I have not watched LSU's play in the trenches, but don't you start a DE who is like 6'6'', 230 in Key? I know he is in on passing situations but is he your every down starting DE?

If yes, I would start by running at him with a 310 lbs tackle. Same thing people did to Garrett last year and Clowney when he lost leverage

Another thing that is an advantage to LSU is we have a solid ,solid back up in Guice. Henry is great, and will probably do most of his damage in the first half...but, he tends to get tired as Saban uses him more by far than any other RB. The difference with LSU is LF just doesn't get tired and if we do decide to rest him, Guice can come in and do very similar damage against a tired defense. Just my .02 Can't wait

No he is not. Passing rushing specialist at the moment but hopefully will grow into a every down End.

#6 Rush D v. #41 Rush O= 40000 yards Henry Heisman Highlight real

Makes sense to Bammers

Ok, that makes sense. Who is the starter? I was looking at a depth chart and it had Key as the starter and the backup as a 240 lbs junior

It's going to be Bama O-Line & Henry vs LSU O-Line & Fournette

Just a cloud of dust

I'm curious what metric you are using.

We are 21 in passing efficiency, so should be good match ups on both sides. I'm just curious to see how this offensive line handles the front seven. The passing defense is a little bloated because of how ridiculous that front is. Still good though.
