Not have one or two of the best QBs in college football on that team? How do you go from four NFL quarterbacks in a row to guys who couldn't start for the scout team a couple of years ago?

Hard to hit on that many QB recruits in a row. It was bound to happen.

Too be fair though the o line is so bad we could have Tom Brady back there and it won't matter

Jalen Hurts was pretty bad at QB at alabama too. You haven’t had 4 in a row.

Sark, Kiffin, O’Brien we’re all legit.

The guy you have now isn’t.

I feel like Milroe is very talented and could turn into a decent player.

Most QB recruits choose their school based on the OC and the style of the offense. The young manning just went to Texas to play for sarkisian. We had Kiffin and Sark back to back and that is why we turned out 4 NFL QB’s.

People still have not grasped how much NIL is changing the landscape of College football. I can’t remember where I saw the stat the other day but it was mind blowing the talent that left the SEC for other schools for more NIL money last year

In fairness, they were all highly ranted QBs, right? What has changed? OC? QB coach? Both?

Milroe

Is a highlight real waiting to happen, yet Saban rolls out two pieces of hot garbage bc y’all lost to texas.

Now the kid is going to quit on the team and you are really screwed.

You don’t change the QB unless what’s on the bench is better. Obviously, that’s not the case.

NIL. You are in Alabama. One of the poorest states in the nation. NIL is about businesses donating to student athletes for marketing.

The states with MONEY a will win the NIL battles going forward.

Bama is just beginning to see the effects of this.

Texas actually SAT Archie Mannings son. He’s up next. You’re going to lose to Texas teams for a while.

Get used to it. We will all play second fiddle to Texas for decades.

Y’all let them in. Dumbasses.

Jalen was great his last year at Bama. He learned to throw the deep ball watching Tua. And proved it in the SECCG.

Hell I'd take Derek Dooley's worst starting Qb at this point.

If you watch any highlights (ha), watch 74 on the OL. On a run play, he stared blankly into space doing absolutely nothing, then looked for someone to block… after the runner had passed him by about 4 yards.

Then watch him in pass pro. Guy is a waste of space. He just lets people through.

Center is also mostly shite. He snaps the ball to Wyoming or Norway, depending on the play. Guy has no idea.

Any QB would look terrible behind those guys.

Could've been worse, Bama. You coulda had some headcase coach leave your program and empty out your QB room entirely leaving you zero scholarship QBs.

It's like you understand what NIL is and yet don't understand at the same time. Businesses pay money to college players based on the amount of exposure they can get in return. Alabama may be a small, poor state, but Alabama football plays on the biggest stage in the nation. Our QB was the face of one of the biggest national college football marketing campaigns going as recently as last year. Let me know when someone from big, bad Texas follows in his footsteps.
