not that what I say matters but this is based on the fact that Ohio State and USC should NOT be in the CFP semifinals consideration. Ohio State may be one of the best teams this year but their dumb conference administrators decided to start late. And no this is not me defending an opportunity for Oklahoma or Iowa State to have a chance to get in.

Anyways...

1. Alabama
2. Notre Dame
3. Texas A&M
4. Clemson

5. Cincinnati
6. Coastal Carolina
7. Indiana
8. Florida

9. Georgia
10. Iowa State
11. Oklahoma
12. Northwestern

13. Ohio State
14. Southern Cal
15. Louisiana
16. North Carolina

ALABAMA is a lock win or lose in the SECCG.

Let's hope NOTRE DAME wins again so we do not see a two-loss Clemson in the CFP. Dabo says that even a two-loss Clemson deserves to be in. Doofus!.

AGGIES have a potential trap game in Rocky Top, but a win at Tennesee should give the AGGIES a lock.

Only other considerations should be Coastal Carolina and Cincinnati, should they both win this coming weekend. Both have ranked opponents in their title games.

Again, this is all with the notion of not having USC or Ohio State considered, which is the way it should be.

People are saying Florida has no chance against Bama, just like people said LSU had no chance against Florida. If Florida has any balls at all as a team, they will come out fighting like hell.

He might have done that to make it not ND-Clemson pt 3

Aggies have the better loss. Plus, I seriously doubt you would see two SEC teams face each other in the CFP semifinal.

I would like to see Cincy. If they beat Tulsa that will make it 3 top 25 teams they beat this season. Clemson, so far, has only beaten one top 25 team.

Besides if Cincy goes in and loses badly we won't have to worry about G5 team getting the nod in a while. Coastal Carolina continues to be the little engine that could so I can't argue against them too much.

Coastal Carolina would win it all. They don’t have a big brand though so no invite.

You know they don’t look at it that way because neither of those first two teams are currently ranked. Tulsa won’t be either after they lose.

The Lizards better hope Mullen has the right wristbands for his players.
Saban should have someone put a Bama shoe on the Flarder sideline.

i strongly believe that the loser of the Clem/ND rematch will play bama from the 4th spot leaving aTm out.

Assuming Bama wins this is how its going to look.

If Notre Dame beats Clemson.

1) Bama
2) Notre Dame
3) Ohio State
4) Texas A&M

If Clemson beats Notre Dame

1) Bama
2) Clemson
3) Ohio State
4) Notre Dame.

This is assuming OSU beats Northwestern obviously as well but I think it's pretty simple this year.

Mullen saying “I guess that’s a penalty” and being salty about it is hilarious. Yes dude, that is unsportsmanlike conduct and basically the definition of it, that would get called 100 percent of the time and on any level.

True in terms of who they lost to, but Clemson lost in 2OT with their star quarterback out. Aggy got blown out by 4 TD.

--------------

Anyway, how I see it shaking out in different scenarios. For the sake of argument, let's assume A&M and Ohio State win in each of these scenarios.

Alabama def. Florida; Notre Dame def. Clemson:

1. Alabama
2. Notre Dame
3. Texas A&M
4. Ohio State

Alabama def. Florida; Clemson def. Notre Dame:

1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Ohio State
4. Notre Dame

Florida def. Alabama; Notre Dame def. Clemson:

1. Notre Dame
2. Alabama
3. Ohio State
4. Texas A&M

Florida def. Alabama; Clemson def. Notre Dame:

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. Notre Dame
4. Ohio State

I think Alabama & Ohio State are locked in. I think A&M is in with a Notre Dame win; I think they are out with a Clemson win.

Now, I think the committee should be rewarding A&M for playing more games but I am assuming they like Ohio State more. If that isn't the case, you could basically swap Ohio State and A&M in the above scenarios (seedings may have to be adjusted - don't think the committee would give us an immediate Clemson/ND rematch or Bama/A&M in the semis).

Texas A&M is ranked 14th in FEI and 13th in F+ behind the likes of Florida, Cincinnati, BYU, Georgia, and Oklahoma. Texas A&M really isn't that good of a team at all. Their signature win was also blown to pieces on Saturday night and they got destroyed by the #1 team earlier this season. They have no business being in the CFB Playoff.
