I never said he was shite talking, I simply stated that he was still living off of an irrelevant win from 11 years ago.

ECU will be tough. Houston is a good coach and they played well at times for him last year (lost by 4 @ Tulsa, beat SMU by 14). They return something like 20 of 22 starters. And that place will be rowdy for Carolina coming to town.

But he wasn’t doing that.
What’s wrong with you? Every time bama is mentioned isn’t a slight. FFS

ECU is probably one of the tougher Group of 5 places to play. Could not tell you what they have returning though

3-1 with the loss being to ECU but I wouldn't be surprised with 4-0.
I can't help but think that Beamer is in way over his head.

Is Troy not good anymore?

No idea.
You guys should have far more talent though.

I'd say 4-0 but East Carolina has had some good teams. No idea whats going on at Troy these days since Neal Brown left.

4-0 is my pick. 2-2 would be an "Oh Jesus, burn it all down" moment. Eastern Illinois stinks on ice from what I remember and Vanderbilt is starting a rebuild that makes Arkansas look fortunate.
@ East Carolina is likely to be a dog fight. They are going to be sky high for that game. You should out talent them though. I do not pick for or against the top of the Sun Belt conference. Every year the little conference that could has three or so teams that can give anyone in the country (outside of maybe Bama or Clemson) a real fight.

The overwhelming majority of your idiot fanbase lives off the success of a college football team representing a university whose campus they've likely never stepped foot on in a town they have only every driven through.

You all still have a shot to beat Tennessee. Should have no problem scoring on the defense as long as you don’t have your own JG at QB.

IMHO, out of those 4 will be one random loss.

I am not sure. I think SC may win more games than just these 4.

Agreed. SC isn't good, but a lot of people are going way too negative.

Why are you playing at E Carolina?
Tons of teams are doing this now. Oklahoma is playing @Tulane this year. We have a game lined up @USF in the future.
American conference teams are too big to exclusively take money games but are a much bigger draw than lots of other G5 teams. It makes sense to do a 2-1 or even home-home.
East Carolina has good fans, and their stadium sits 50Kish I think. It’d probably be a fun one to go to.

The program is not a dumpster fire. The decisions by Ray Tanner are the problems. He hired Muschamp (mistake) and then hung on to him too long...He hired Chad Holbrook (not seen as a mistake, but a no brainer at the time) and held on to him too long...then there is Frank Martin (he didn't hire him) and now he has hung on to him too long. Tanner is the problem. Most schools are going to a CEO type AD...us...we are playing old school and it's costing us big time.
