Fake Rivalry.
Most Auburn fans not on tRant could care less.
I think they're more annoyed with losing to Georgia consistently.
Other rivals,
Bama - Hey, not too bad giving the state of their program
Florida - Haven't beaten us since 2002
Tennessee - Only beat us 1 time in the last 20 years

In the years that LSU beat AU in those 12 years, they where ranked the following: 6,10,1,2,6,13,12. So like most cases, the better team usually wins in this series.. The only real upset came in 17.

Those are puzzlers, for sure. Auburn struggles against Georgia like Georgia used to struggle against Florida. Some games have been head scratchers for sure.

This might help explain how Les Miles got fired after losing 2 out of his last 3 against Auburn.
I'm trying to think of the last time an Auburn coach was fired immediately after losing to LSU. Terry Bowden resigned out of fear of playing La. Tech. That's all I got.

AU fans have been slow to accept LSU as a rival. We rarely played them prior to 1992 and prefer games with UT and UF. Still do not think about them much after the game is over.

Awful. A few are forgivable like 2011 and 2009. Losing to dem rosy finch boyz is an abomination.

Couldn't it be 5-7 if you changed 1 second in a game each time as well? However, as an Auburn supporter 2010 and 2013 matter more than winning in seasons that mean nothing.

We have phases where we have our hands full with teams that don't really accomplish much. Before yall it was Arkansas. Only difference is that most of the time against LSU we jumped all over them then handed the game to them at the end.

i appreciate that statement, this series is more about respect and competitive fire than the hatred of other rivalrys.
from my pint of view aTm is not a real rivalry but I learned to hate them with passion in the middle sixties because a man in the neighborhood was a faggie and i had total disdain for him and his family

Negative. Outside of Garrison, no other Auburn fan on here gives the AU/LSU rivalry a second thought after we play each other.
Moreover, when the words, 'insecure' and 'hyped up rivalry' are tossed around, we all think about LSU's many issues w/ bama.
