LSU has won two in a row, 3 out of the last four, six of the last eight etc. Just how intense is the loathing over there on The Plains? Particularly with the 2019 game in Baton Rouge where you haven't won since the 1990's. How do you guys feel about this game these days?

I must admit that 3-9 is a surprise to me. Just think, one second more and it could have been 2-10

It’s weird to think Auburn struggles against us recently like we struggle against Bama recently, yet auburn can actually beat Bama

It sucks, especially when two losses have been to Coach O.

But, 2013 and 2017 proved losing that game doesn't mean winning the West is out of reach. Just have to be pretty well perfect after that.

Honestly? I don't really care, and never think about it. Much more rustled about struggles against UGA.

As far as individual games go, though? That LSU loss in 2017 took a LOT of wind out of my sails.

I think Malzahn being on the hottest of seats is self-explanatory. LSU is part of it, but it's mainly about thUGA and Bama. Do you think anyone really cared in 2017 that Auburn lost to you guys after whipping arse in Amen Corner?

It's pretty annoying that we were 2 blown leads away from winning 3 of the last 4. This years game will be tough, I'm not expecting a win.

I don't really dislike LSU though, my hate is reserved for Georgia and Alabama.

Yeah, judging by the Atomic Melt by Auburn fans after that game, I'd say a lot of people cared.

I guess reading is hard for you? I said after Amen Corner, nobody cared anymore.

Hell yeah we melted at the time. Nobody thought they could beat Bama or thUGA if they couldn't even take care of Farmer Fran.

Big 3 vs The Barn:

UGA 10-3 (.230)
LSU 9-3 (.250)
Bama 8-4 (.333)

10-27 (.270) vs their 3 biggest rivals. You don't think they're used to being bitches by now?

LSU is not a rival, so it does not hurt as much. LSU is my second favorite team in the SEC.

Overall, Auburn has been very average, then have a good year. 2 NC appearances is what keeps me going .

It's become quietly a pretty one-sided series. But like the AU posters have said: LSU is a lowman on their totem pole of rivals. They are more concerned with Bama and UGA.

We lost to UT last year.

I'm pretty conditioned for football failure.

Auburn is also 3-10 vs UGA/4-8 vs UA/3-9 in the same dozen yrs.

Probably about the same that LSU feels about being 3-10 vs Alabama in the same time frame.

Nope, AU's record vs UA (4-8) and UGA (3-10) is pitiful in the last dozen years. Yet it has had no affect on the AU Administration because y'all are paying that staff top 10 salaries.

I agree there. The fan base was almost successful in pushing him out last year. The president (the fool that gave him the big contract) saved him unfortunately. But if things continue, we'll hurt their wallets enough for them to have no other choice.

Insecure U has arrived to talk about themselves again. I’m shocked. Shocked I tell you. Make sure to tell us more about yourselves in every thread so we don’t forget.
