How Do You Think The VOLS Approach The CWS Mentally?

Last year it seemed like the pressure of being the Top Dog all year and the team that was supposed to win beat them as much as Notre Dame did.
I think they let em hang and play like a team that has nothing to lose. They do that they can win the whole thing.
Not trolling actually very impressed with the Vols in the second half of the season.
Also frick you guys LSU by Thirty.

they're going to have to be prepared to swing the bats going against the future number 1 pick. should be a competitive game. good luck to ya'll, but frick ya'll as well too lol

Has LSU announced a pitcher yet? It would be a waste to send Skenes in.

Cheers baw should be a great game yall have been playing well. Agreed Skenes just fills it up Vols need to come out the gate guns ablazing and put the pressure on LSU’s defense.

No but it will be Skenes. We “wasted” him against a 19 win 4 seed in the regional. I believe our coaching staff has a lot more respect for the Vols then they did Tulane lol.

The only way it isn’t skenes is if we have some bad weather around and they start the game with the bad weather on its way

Good point about last year. This year we are plying with house money. May only play 2 games and if so I won’t be happy but I won’t be that upset either. Typically you need this type of experience before you adapt and break thru. We shall see.
We had two fairly competitive games LSU won in that earlier series. We have played better lately, but is it enough?

If we lose tomorrow without skenes throwing JJ will never hear the end of it. Zero chance he doesn't use skenes

Agreed Vols playing with house money pressure is 100% on LSU. Hope we handle it well.

And since the guys after him are not great, the next more important game gets a lesser guy? While not the same degree as pitching him to Tulane it could put y’all in a terrible spot.

They're both great teams & at CWS. If anything, UTe will press because they have to.
