I feel much better about Bama's chances to lose twice. Iron Bowl upset. Bookmark it.

Our defense was good yesterday but your WRs dropped passes all over the place. That's probably an aberration?

Pretty good. Have a chance and that is all you can ask for.

A bit better than I did to start the year. Ellis Johnson's defense is better than I thought. We do give up yards but are pretty good in the red zone.

Preason, I predicted us to be 5-1 going into the A&M game. Thought we would beat MSU and Ole Miss and called the AU-OM game the bet of the year in several threads.

So really, we are where I predicted in the pre-season. Also, predicted losses to A&M, UGA, Bama and a split of the Arky UT games on the road for a 7-4 or 8-3 season if we could win both Arky and UT.

I'm a bit more optomistic now, but we have to show we can win on the road still.

Auburn has made huge strides on D, and the O is about what I expected when Gus took over.

Arkansas has played two of the better teams in the SEC, while Auburn has played one meh team and one terrible team

Can't even compare them at all

LSU is a bit better than meh and it was at night in TS.

And we have played 3 SEC teams in total numbnuts.

Piglets will their get a chance to prove themselves against us.

I don't know how the others feel but the WRs have not impressed me at all this year. In the Rutgers game they dropped critical passes too.

Injuries happen to everyone.

We lost our starting QB, starting DT, Best ST returning talent, starting OG, star DB (Robertson), Halapio is playing with a partially torn pect. And I'm probably forgetting key other players.

When they come in bunches really sucks.

I was talking about Ole Miss and State

I realize you guys played LSU

Just talking about the games he was probably thinking of since he mentioned the strides you guys were making

I know. The main problem with ours is that the injuries are clustered in 3 positions (2 RB, 3 WR, 2 S). Leaves us with some big holes in the depth chart.

We can offer a CB in exchange for a decent kicker and RB.

But purely in terms of mascots, a hybrid Tiger-Gator would kick arse.

I like your thinking but LSU does not have the defense this year to dictate a game.

Kentucky is about what I thought they would be given the state Joker left us in. The few recruits Stoops was able to bring in when he was hired, and the few quality leftovers from the Joker debacle are the stars of the team, just incredibly thin.
The defense is showing what a Stoops/Eliot coaching effort can produce, very happy, just need a few more quality guys for the D.
The offense has been worse than I thought it would be, but they showed last night that they are starting to figure things out, so that as well is encouraging.
After Bama next week, there are wins on the schedule to end the season. Very happy for the future of UK football.

I get why they did, but I wish no one on defense had gone to the NFL early/gotten kicked off the team.

Our offense speaks for itself; our possible defensive lineup:

DE: Barkevious Mingo
DE: Sam Montgomery
DT: Michael Brockers
DT: Bennie Logan
OLB: Kwon Alexander
MLB: Kevin Minter
OLB: Lamin Barrow
CB: Tharold Simon
CB: Tyrann Mathieu
FS: Eric Reid
SS: Craig Loston

It's not quite an NFL team ("only" eight NFL players starting on defense), but it'd be indistinguishable from one when we'd be rolling through the schedule obliterating everyone in sight.
