If you say so. Like I said it is not my problem if you want to ignore facts. You are going to believe what you want to believe.

Holy shite you've got to be kidding with this crap...

Through 8 games, Randle:
638 yards, 19.3 ypc, 7 TD, 80 yards per game.

Julio Jones 13 games, 2010 season:
1133 yards, 14.5 ypc, 7 TD, 87 yards per game.

RR: 6'4 208 lbs
JJ: 6'4 220 lbs

Both fast. Both big. Both run good routes. Both block well. I'm not sure it's a bad comparison. I think of Randle as more of an AJ Green type, though. Not as freaky as Julio but perhaps his equal at WR.

You measure talent by watching him play against cupcakes? Interesting. Physically, Randle is his superior. So I'm not sure what you are getting at.

Lol, did you not watch SEC football last year? I've been watching Hunter play football for 2+ years, back to his high school days. And no Randle is not his physical superior. He's the more polished, experienced receiver, but Hunter has the edge in almost every athletic category.

Sorry, he's not in Randles league. Maybe he will be next year. Hunter is a jump-ball/redzone receiver and nothing more at this point. Randle is better at every other aspect of the game. He's a better receiver.

I also think LSU WR's run lazy routes...JMO

It must suck how those Lazy WR's from LSU have more touchdowns than your Powerful NFL-Like Petrino offense.

Seriously Randle is an above average sec receiver. He is nothing to write home about. And certainly nothing that will intimidate Alabama. We have shutdown much better players.

Petrino would probably give up a hand to have Randle on his squad

Meh, Randle is the better blocker and that's about it. Hunter was well on the way to being a top 5 WR in the nation before his injury.

Randle is good, but LSU fans got to stop acting like Bama is facing Calvin Johnson or Justin Blackmon.

While Randle is not Andre Johnson or Calvin Johnson, he is the best WR in the SEC.

He is also the same WR that went for 100+ vs Bama last year.

How do you cover Reuben Randle?

Oregon held him to 10 yards and Kentucky to 37. He's a good player but I'm not sure shutting him down is the key to winning. If you can stop him from getting the explosive plays, then you can deal with his normal output of 80 yards.

If you want to shut him down, then pressure the QB. If the QB has time, then receivers are going to get open eventually.

How do you stop Trent? Put 8 in the box and make McCarron beat you.

Randle isn't like a Calvin Johnson where you worry about him beating you himself. He's a good player but it isn't like the Bama secondary has never played talented receivers.

True story, any explanation of why that is? I have to admit I was shocked when I saw it myself. You told us all summer we had the worst offense ever and ya'll were gonna be all world.

LSU passing td's:16

Arky: passing td's 14

The only receiver in the SEC who is better than Reuben is Justin Hunter. Hunter, when healthy, is the best receiver in the SEC and it's not close.

A: Make him laugh.

--OR--

A: Put a piece of Rye Bread on him.

In all seriousness, you have to play him physically, and you have to have a safety shade in his direction. He's going to run free, he's just that good, but if you get pressure on Lee from the side that Randle is on, you can flush Lee out the wrong way and either force him to make bad throws by throwing across his body or having to throw it away. Also, watch out for any kind of trickeration. Randle on an end-around would be dangerous.

Oregon held him to 10 yards

lol at a gump just reading stats and not watching games. Randle was hurt for the Oregon game, still caught a TD and drew a pass INT call in the endzone on another drive despite playing maybe 25% of the offensive snaps.

And UK is UK. We ran the ball every first and second down because it didn't matter.
