Fact is that 99% on this board t have no idea what's going on behind the scenes at these schools. If cheating is as common as everyone says it is wouldn't we be hearing a multitude of stories about it from players who transfer or get kicked out of these high profile schools?

I did here stories from a couple of FB players I knew in college and I went to HS with a couple of highly recruited guys and both got lined up with sweet summer jobs (this was before most players stayed on campus year round) but neither got cars or big cash payments.

Not saying it doesn't go on.I just don't think it's as common as most on this board believe.

I would say probably every program in the SEC is a minimum of a 5. Most probably fall in the 5-7 range. Auburn is a 10.

Cam liked AU more. Get over it.

Bama would have been much higher 10 years ago, but Saban has a well oiled machine and doesn't have to cheat nearly as much.

What most people think is cheating isn't really cheating.

$100 handshakes for example happen everywhere, and I don't consider that cheating.

To me, cheating is paying recruits to come to your school.

very important qualifier... everybody takes care of the student athlete upon arrival, it's what you do to get them on the LOI that determines cheating potentially.

What schools have been put through an exhaustive NCAA investigation and had no wrong doing found?

Auburn is one.

I'll wait for the rest.

We're all just as dirty as SMU was back in the 80s.

I dont think the schools are nearly as bad as they were 20 years ago. Way too much at stake. Ole Miss is an example why. You just cant have coaches getting money for players anymore. Now boosters and $100 handshakes, that happens everywhere and there is nothing you can do about it

One of our boosters literally adopted a 5* player (Sharif Floyd) and gave him all kinds of goodies.

That's the key word. I doubt very few coaches are involved anymore. I think the boosters handle most of that.

3 or 4. In our division, the average is likely about 7, so we're losing ground here. Gotta get these rookie numbers up.

Exhaustive is a bit much. They investigated 1 player.

Ask Ole Miss what exhaustive looks like On campus for 5 years, Using university staff to run stings on boosters.

It was about 9 players total I believe. Cam was just the main investigation, but if you remember they were throwing a lot of shite against the walls

really? I don't remember then. Sorry.

I only remember the news that Cam might miss the SEC Championship game, then he was cleared. Had no idea about any other players.

Still though. that's not 5 years on campus
