Pretty sure only one person took the gun from the car, pointed it and pulled the trigger.
quote:I don’t understand what this means. There are certainly laws in Alabama that address participants, accessories, etc. To a crime other than just related to the shooter.
Under Alabama law that's about all that's needed.
quote:Probably not. There are a lot of significant details missing. I find it highly unusual that Bradley and Miller weren’t arrested and charged based on the known information. From my knowledge and experience, people in their shoes, unless wealthy or connected, generally are arrested even if they are ultimately exaggerated due to a lack of evidence of mens rea.
There doesn't appear to be an attempt to cover up anything that would violate lawful practice.
My working opinion based on very incomplete information is that they either got preferential treatment due to their status or due to their cooperation or there is additional information that truly shows they were clearly without knowledge as to what was about to go down.

It's possible they got an Uber or one of the rickshaw ride things that are all over Tuscaloosa late on weekend nights, I'd guess.
I would think if someone got into an Uber or rickshaw with a gsw, the driver might have mentioned it to someone but idk.

Yeah man and Oats actually loaded the gun before telling Miller to go do the weapon drop. Oats reportedly said, “be sure to tell them to miss your target and hit an innocent person” Despicable.

You would be wrong. Try going out and continually arresting folks without evidence of a crime. You would be without a job and the department out of a lot of money.

If y’all idiots think a Miller drove Miles to the apartment and didn’t get arrested then y’all have no idea of TPDs reputation. They don’t give toe shots about student athletes or Alabama athletics. Hell our DC got a dUI for fricks sakes.

I believe one of the reports said they got in Bradley's car after the shooting. Of course, he is still playing as well.

TPD did a drug bust on an Alabama football player in the AD parking lot in 2008. They don’t really protect The Program like you think. The city has a sometimes hot sometimes cold relationship with the university despite it being economically essential to their success.

He wasn’t coming from University Downs when the doorbell camera captured him
I don't believe he said he was coming from UD.

GSWs were mostly superficial.
The shoulder one was significant as Davis was still wearing a sling because of it at the hearing this week.

There's no distinction under the law. If I hand you the gun with the intent that you use it to kill someone and you pull the trigger, we're both going to prison for murder.

quote:We already know he did this.
1. Brandon Miller delivered the murder weapon to the scene
quote:
2. The murderer retrieved the weapon from Miller’s car and Miller was present for a conversation about there being a bullet in the chamber
quote:Haven’t police said Miller talked to them at the scene?
3. Seconds later the gun was used to murder someone, and 4. Miller drove Davis and/or Miles away from the scene of the crime
quote:Would still like to read all the texts and here testimony from the two already charged about what Miller’s involvement was. But in your scenario I don’t think there is a good chance Miller should be in trouble.
What are your thoughts under that potential scenario?

No, the more likely answer is that either Miller or Bradley transported them. Both of them were there, both of them had cars.
The victims were also able to drive away and end up at the Walk of Champions which should tell you that at least Miller and Bradley left pretty quick since it was reported their cars were blocking the victim’s Jeep.

I think they did.
But I’m definitely not confident enough to say for sure.

It’s a 45 minute walk from Grace St. to University Downs.
